Thanks for this informative video! How often do you have to clean the piercing once it's fully healed? Also, is it easier to flip up a smaller or bigger horseshoe?

after healing you can clean as often you feel necessary! :)

Working in a factory there’s some limitations on what I can wear for clothes and body jewelry. Mainly Hoops of any kind rare a no-go and I’d like to start stretching my ears and maybe get a septum and I had no idea there was so much selection with septum jewelry.

I had mine pierced with a 10 gauge 22 years ago and I didn’t wear any jewelry for 12 years and it is between a 14 and 16 gauge. I prefer tighter jewelry, delicate looking, jewels on it or the tribal ones!!! I’m not that into the horse shoe or captive bead rings I do love a beautiful seamless hoop though!!

My wife has a six gauge septum piercing,she would like to know if custom building jewellery would be possible because with those sizes the option are less varied. It would be cool to get more colors and lenghts for choices,also materials even though the prices would vary.

Trying to find a small 2.5mm septum ring is hard. All of the hoops are huge for p.a piercings, there's just so little out there for stretching your septum

Pa piercing r hard to find once u hit a certain size. My septum however is at 8g now and I got most of my stuff from urban. I like to use no flair glass plugs for work and I wear either a captive bead or pinchers but for stretching it’s all about glass plugs they just have to be short
