Max Genius Cavalera, brazilian pride, greetings from Brasil!

This is a great, classic, Max Cavalera interview! It's during a pivotal period in Sepultura's history that wasn't (in my opinion) documented enough before Max left the band. Thank you for uploading it! I've never seen this and I'm a huge Cavalera-Era Sepultura fan! I don't think they unleashed their full "Roots" promotional guns in the U.S before the split unfortunately. They had a tour with Ozzy I missed, and never had the chance to see them on this particular tour cycle. SOULFLY-TRIBE4LIFE! \\m//-_-\\m//

Agreed. Looking forward to seeing myself with Soulfly, and Cavalera Conspiracy sometime hopefully. \\m//-_-\\m//

@@JB-er8qo I said it was one of the best Metal albums, I never said it was better than BTR or Arise. I think Schizophrenia was amazing, but the mixing was poor.

Lol have you even bothered checking out modern metal bands!? Tons of quality acts out there unless you focus only on mainstream acts of course.
@wanderingskeleton528 жыл бұрын
Battlecross, Anterior, Sylosis, those bands are quality acts by far! The list is endless even for modern metal bands, there is always going to be good and bad bands no matter what timeframe you live in.

I hear some stuff in attitude and stuff similar to ethnic music, not just braziil or subsaharian africa, but north africa, and mediterranean. In folk and medieval italian, greek and portuguese music there 's a lot of stuff similar to brazil. I hear a bit of Hellhammer / Morbid tales primitive riff and Sabbath. I mean the middle of Attitude is totally Iommi stuff, you imagine Ozzy or Dio headbanging on the mic stand on it.
