Thanks for the video! Made it really simple to follow directions. I got confused a couple of times, like I couldn’t figure out how to unclip the AC wires from the radio, I didn’t wanna force it and break it but I eventually figured it out. There’s a lot of wires I didn’t seem to have a use for so that confused me too but it seems to be working great!

Just installed mine in my Honda civic 2017, and I LOVE IT!! This head unit was exactly what I was looking for!!! Super easy install of you watch this video and go along with it. I sped up the install by getting the wires set up before taking the car apart. Be careful taking the clips off your old system cause I got cut pretty decently haha, bur well worth it!!! My only question is, is there a way to run the usb/mic/GPS outside of the head unit to where I can have those cables exposed possibly under the ac control area? Either way, 10/10!! I recommend everyone who is thinking of upgrading their Honda head unit, to this model!! I'm in love!

@@wasfwaid6969 its by audiovision but i know nothing about them another popular one i can't remember but most of these aren't really worth it, they're fairly bad but of course the issue is getting a pioneer or sony or other better unit is expensive because you need to have a special kit and they're expensive and it replaces the original heating and cooling unit and dials so they the dash kit includes another smaller screen that replaces that unit with buttons and display to use. Those are recommended to use over these android options, but they're a lot more expensive I will warn you, you're looking at around 1000$ if you get a place to install it for you, by yourself which is a bit more would save you a couple hundred bucks at best and its probably not worth the risk of a mistake so the extra couple hundred for a trusted installer is probably a better option. Mine cracked due to my ex.. so the touch functions don't work but everything else still does, no point in replacing it right now plus the car is paid off next month so my civic is going to have cracked display for a while, because a factory unit is at least 1500$ due to install and so forth.

Hello, I purchased M-S System radio for my 2021 Honda Civic Lx Sedan. All the functionalities work fine except for the steering wheel buttons. I tried going to the radio settings and checked “Steering Wheel Controls” settings but I am getting an error alert that says “Please hold the button on the steering wheel into the learning state!” Which button do I hold? I also made sure the canbus box was plugged in properly and made sure to select the year make and model of my car in the settings. I just want to be able to sync my steering wheel volume buttons. Please help when available

The unit retains the steering wheel controls automatically without having to set them. If you changed the vehicle it came set to they won’t work and if you didn’t connect the small plug shown at the 7:10 mark then they also won’t work.

Hello AudioVision, I bought an aftermarket screen recently off of eBay and was too dim and messed with a lot of things like the lock and turn signals. I checked out your website and saw your screen and I’m interested but it looks the slightest bit dim but better than what I had before. Can you see perfectly clear with your stereos? Installed mine but I have a 2016 touring with premium sound. So when I installed it. I have the screen but no audio. And on the steering wheel above display shows loading dots on the music icon HELPP. I should not my stock screen did not look like yours. It’s a 7in nav with no knobs but touch buttons on the left

You don’t need a SIM card to use the radio-it's just an extra option if you want cellular connectivity for streaming, navigation, or other apps without relying on Wi-Fi from a hotspot on your phone. The radio itself works perfectly fine without a SIM card, and you’ll still have access to all the regular radio features and functionality.

In case you haven't already gotten your answer, no, the model of the vehicle doesn't matter. Pretty sure this item works with all of the civic models, it should be pretty much just plug and play. Don't worry about messing anything up, it seems like a lot but this kind of stuff actually becomes really simple once you do it. Good luck :)

I've had the head unit for a year now I think and still works perfectly. I installed subwoofers, needed a Y splitter for my specific amp but it all works. Installing another amp for car door speakers soon and gonna cut into the wiring harness to splice some wires. But I was wondering if there is a dedicated store for for all the additional features mentioned in the user manual (Dab+/OBD II, TPMS, AV output, 360 camera, ADAS DVR, AHD HD reversing) cuz i drive a 2017 Honda civic and like having updated features/mods. For anyone else that comes across this comment the stock backup cam and steering wheel controls work for me.
