All your work is amazing, you're the reason I own 2 AS1s, Pro 2, Pro 3, Rev 2, Mopho SE. You may have not worked with some of these bits but the work you have done is something that makes these synths shine. Congrats on your milestone with Sequential.

Hi, I just purchased this wonderful collection of yours. Is there a patch list posted somewhere? None was provided in the download, only a sysex file. Thanks!

Everything was done on the Prophet 10 itself so it’s just the patch numbers as per the display.

@@INHALTVIDEO It would be helpful if you provided a patch list, even if you called them Bass #1, Bass #2, Pad #1 etc. It would make locating particular sounds easier. We could do it ourselves, but we did pay money for it... Just my opinion. Great sounds. 😉

@@skyko I’m not sure how you’re visually seeing the patch names as the synth itself is tri-numeric display. On my side i’ve had massive stability issues with sound tower stuff so I’m not sure how I would add names to the sysex data itself.

@@INHALTVIDEO I understand... I've not expressed myself correctly (AND I agree with the Sound Tower plugin... Terrible for my Pro 3, still trying to get it working) What I suggested is that you include a digital "one sheet" or a .pdf with the names of your patches and their corresponding #'s. Maybe you have them somewhere on your site that I did not see? The download was only the .sys file... (Thank you for your interaction BTW, I know how busy you are).😉

Just added to User Bank 5, and enjoying sp far. Have Prophet -5 Editor, and all (47) named 'Basic Program'. Only limted Win 11 Pro experience with MIDI-OX, but loading seemed to go well. Can I assume this result is likely done properly, and there are not individual names for Patches ? 🤞🏻🤞🏻

All the patches were made on the synth itself and I have had many issues with sound tower stuff so there are no “names” other than that patch numbers as thats the limitation of the synth. You can name them whatever you like :-)

Hi - I just b ought my Prophet 10 module. It's my first synth, and I am confused.... I am going to get the Soundtower editor, but for the moment, you say this overwrites group 5. So what do I do? How would I save these in user sounds? I'm totally lost. I think I have to use SysEx and MIDI-OX, but I don't see any way to direct WHERE they get saved to. Thanks.

Im not sure about sound tower, but if you don’t have any of your sounds saved into preset group 5, these presets stock from the factory are a duplicate of what’s saved in factory group 5. So you wouldnt be overwriting what’s there as its a duplicate of factory group 5. If you want to move my patches out of group 5 you have to first sysex dump them there, then on the synth manually re-write them from group 5 to wherever you want them saved. That would be the manual way to do it. Similarly if you do have sounds saved in group 5, do a group dump via sysex of those patches, dump my sounds in, manually on the synth move them by re-saving to a different location then dump back your sounds to group 5.

@@INHALTVIDEO Thank you. I discovered that Soundtower offers a demo version of the standalone app, so I got that, and it displays all existing user and factory sounds, complete with names and not just numbers. So now the synth's patches make sense (SC should include this with purchase for a 3.4 or 4.3K dollar unit). I compared all of my factory and user patches, and about a dozen are different for some reason (prior user of my "open box" unit," perhaps?). I have not created any sounds yet. I actually didn't realize that the unit ships with two (mostly...) identical sets of patches. Since there is no "user" and "factory" switch on the unit (just "factory" lit up and not lit up), it wasn't clear at all to me that that was what was happening! I know the manual states in one sentence that this is so, but it didn't "sink in" until I saw it on Soundtower. So, your patch set would overwrite the USER "version" of the "factory" sounds, that's cool. Thank you for explaining that!
