Your videos are always great! We are actually thinking about doing Yosemite and Sequoia next year. Thank you for the preview! It's either that or the redwoods in Northern California.

You can't go wrong with whatever you choose, California is one of our favorite states that we have visited! We would love to hear where you decide to go/how it went 😃 especially if you find some awesome stops we can add to our future bucket list! We love hearing about other people's travels! Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it!

Wait a minute you got to see 4 bears and I haven't seen one! Not fair! I'm really enjoying this series. Even though we went to both parks it was a whirlwind tour. I'm glad to be seeing them again. Stay safe out there!
@mikeandheather2 жыл бұрын
Our trip through the parks felt like a whirlwind too! There are so many awesome things to see at both parks, INCLUDING BEARS, that it was hard to fit it all in! But we loved our time there, and hope you had a great time as well 😀 thank you so much for watching, we really appreciate it! Hopefully next time you go, you will see bears 🐻 (from a safe distance haha)

Nice van! I’m 6”5 and have been looking at transits because of their price range but seeing you guys make it work with 2 people gives me confidence to get one. Keep truckin!
@mikeandheather2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words! The price is 100% why we have the van we have, we quickly learned the bigger vans were out of our price range so we were forced to make it work haha Shameless plug: if you are interested in seeing how exactly we make the sleeping situation work for Mike who is the same height as you, this video shows it better: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHbddJ-qfqqen6c Hope that helps! Honestly whatever you choose will be great! Best of luck in your van search/build! Thank you for watching 😀

We worked in Sequoia -Summer 2021 and it's such a great park to see bears! We ended up having to evacuate and leave the park because of the wild fires and never got to return. it's cool to see how all the big trees faired in your video! If you ever get the chance to go back I highly recommend driving down into Kings Canyon and doing Moro rock and some of the hikes that take you into the Sierras!
@mikeandheather2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the suggestion, we really appreciate it! We will have to add the Moro Rock hike to our bucket list! We were not expecting to see so many bears with the parks being so heavily trafficked, we were pleasantly surprised 🐻 Hopefully you get to go back to Sequoia again soon! Thank you so much for watching!

What do you guys do for work?

Before quitting our "career jobs" for remote work, Heather worked in a Career Center and Mike worked in a Museum. After being sent home during the pandemic, we both switched to basic remote data entry jobs. When we started traveling we realized that moving as quickly as we did and working full time was really difficult so we dropped to part time. Now, we are home, working full time once more to save money and travel once again 😊
