Her growth is relatable, well handled, and far better written than one would expect for this show. Her reappearance alone makes JN105 one of my favorite Journeys episodes.

@@parthsharma8493I actually think this is what kind of killed the hype of Pokémon Horizon. I noticed it fell off hard once everyone found out that wasn’t a possibility. It was a little unsettling how much they made Riko look like Serena and Ash though. Most likely to get the series anticipation up but it quickly died off once it was confirmed she wasn’t their daughter. I think the creator really missed a massive score right there and never gave Pokémon horizons a chance to be huge.

Serena is the only one of Ash's previous companions to change their main outfit without it being something they do in the games and I've gotta say upon Serena's return in Pokemon Journeys she looked really gorgeous. Her hair, while still above her shoulders, is styled and she has a more mature look, wearing a gray version of her first hat with a black sleeveless turtleneck (Wish it could've exposed her midriff a bit), a pleated red and white plaid skirt, and black socks with dark brown boots. In addition, she wears a red bracelet on her left wrist and a pair of red bow earrings. She even has a special close-up with the ocean sparkling behind her when she appears to emphasize her new look.

0:39 Ash's first love came to his life when they didn't know each other back then, it's kinda peculiar or weird though. Why that thing was not exist on the first season instead? On this new era Prof Cycamore has sport car the mirror can be open, so that he can breath and the mirror open just like Sport car in real world. Prof cycamore good at driving on this era Ash surprise that he can driving his car well, they finally arrived at the hospital. Meanwhile: Alain, Clemont, and Bunnie following them by using Clemont invesion. He invented Fake wing machine for each of them to wear. Sadly, his vension blew up after they arrived there. Serena wailing on hospital bed due to feeling painful on the stomach. Serena: Honey! My stomach hurt so much i need you by my side my hubby.( Serena speaks to herself in the heart) The doctor told them to wait at the waiting room. Ash as a husband keep worrying his wife Serena, his buddy Pikachu always by his side during tough times like this in the hospital, his friends and Prof cycamore got his back. In the evening at 7pm Ash and everyone aslept at the waiting room suddely they heard a baby just born inside treatment room. Waa waa waa! Spur of the momment they woke up spontaniously together. The doctor came out and told them: Mrs. Ketchump's baby was born she is a girl congrats mr. Ketchump. Ash burst into tears due to glowing with excitement he finally becoming a father for his daugther, he ran off headed over to go insde into the treatment room. Serena to her husband: Dear we finally having a baby girl. Ash: Yes dear, i'm elated and very moved we are having a baby girl now, you would become a hero in the family who always protecting me right? Ash: of course dear.[ he kissed her on the lips as he done in Kalos at the the airport back then.] The end.😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Moral: When you love a girl treat her with love and care, being a hero as a husband you no need to require magics and super power. If you be able to protect your wife fully when your wife need you, you already become your hero in your live. So you see, love can be a beautiful thing that could have in the world. @@theantrules6436 Like I said before, it's a very controversial shipping for the fact that it is very divisive in the Pokemon Anime fandom, there are fans who love Amourshipping and also the other side who hates Amourshipping, and I am proudly on the hate side. Look, I don't support any kind of shipping that involves Ash on it as I am an Anti-Shipper which it is my job to eradicate every single dumb shipping that the internet has done and Amourshipping is a great example to talk about. First things up; Amourshipping despite being a polarizing ship is a very popular shipping that involves Ash and Serena as a couple which heavily contradicts Ash's true identity and personality as a character in the Anime, Ash is well known to be an eternal 10 year old whose main goal is to become a Pokemon Master noticing how in the show, he's interested in Pokemon only and of course, unlike Brock, he's completely oblivious to any girls as he only treats them as friends including to Serena as well. Another problem with the Amourshippers is that they take this ship too seriously thanks to Tetsuo Yajima's opinion about Amourshipping as they're evident in many polls in KZbin, like the Ash companion contest poll, in where these people keep voting Serena up as they're spreading their words of her being "Ash's waifu" and shouting "Amourshipping forever" to the point that they're trashing the competition in an undeserving way, this is one of the reasons why Amourshipping gained controversy in the fandom. But we're not done yet, there are some Amourshippers that are extremely toxic to any other shippings about Ash in the fandom and also against Anti-Shippers like myself as how their fantasies and imaginations about Ash and Serena being a perfect couple continue to invade their minds without stopping. This kind of violence that the Amourshippers do against anyone who disagrees their hierarchy of Amourshipping being the best is actually really disgusting, these fans are the reason why I have a hate and disdain towards Serena in the XYZ Anime, she had a crush with Ash which it gave birth to this now controversial shipping that keeps parroting the Internet nonstop and her unimpressive but almost mid development that I actually didn't enjoy especially with the Pokemon Performances, being a watered down version of Pokemon Contests, are one of the reasons why I don't like Serena unlike the shippers who you know, they only like her for the shipping. In conclusion, Serena is definitely a D-Tier Ash companion as how her popularity in the Anime is literally a misguided love train and her shipping towards Ash isn't canon as they are still minors, Ash had no romantic feelings towards Serena as he treats her as a friend and to add a nail in the coffin, Ash is finally gone from the Anime and The Pokemon Company will likely focus on adding different characters on each generation of Pokemon which started in Gen 9's Pokemon Horizons and it's a good change, finally!

When we're shipping him, its only theoretically if he was to have a relationship with one of the pokegirls, which one is most likely. For me, thats Serena, because i think they match and theres a significant amount of evidence suggesting that it could be possible. I'm absolutely fine if others are not amourshippers and are instead pokeshippers, or advancedshippers or pearlshippers, ofc people will have preferences. The thing is all of these shipping groups have a small group of toxic people, which spurs controversy and drama and gives basically every group a bad rep. Also, I'd like to add that there are quite a few instances where Ash seemed to have returned interest in Serena, however it was quite obviously much less than Serena's interest in him. Despite this, I have several reasons to believe that out of all the companions Serena is the most likely for Ash (too many to state here).

Serena my favorite female character, her story is story from zero to heroine and classical love story that was missing in Pokémon anime, she is girl which is modest person, in first half Pokémon anime she was looking her destiny and second half Pokémon anime was coming true as Pokémon Performer though not become as a new Kalos Queen this for me she is a Kalos Queen!!! Still I Cant figure out, How some people hating Serena just because of some jealous. Believe it or not, after Diamond and Pearl I stopped watching Pokemon series, eve I forgotten the existence of Pokemon tbh 😅. But then one day accidently one of XY's episode got caught in my eyes. I started watching and instantly loved it, not because of Ash, it's because of Serena I dont know why but I instantly got attracted to that Character. I literally dont know about the existence of Kalos, Alola and Journeys. I decided to search about XY in online, got too interested and started to watch, good that episodes available in YT itself. The time I noticed the XY when pokemon channel uploaded around 80 episodes. I just watched all 80 episodes in 3 nights 😂. I instantly liked ❌️ LOVED Serena. After all this only I got to know there's a thing called Amourshipping and all, how internet eruptted on Serena's goodbye kiss and all. I really regreted that I have missed all the moments live. Whoseover, whatever would say.. for me Serena is the best ever character to be happened in Pokemon. And even shipping part, Pokemon themselves shipped them 😂❤ lots of things changed, lots of hidden details just for this pair, 🎉 For me XY is the best ever series, for many reason but first main reason is for Serena. ❤

I feel like many PokeShippers say that AmourShipping is not canon at all, and that Ash has no feelings towards Serena, but let's analyze the kiss scene to prove this is wrong: -Given the face Clemont, Bonnie, Pikachu and Dedenne make after this moment, this is, indeed, a kiss. -Since Ash let Serena kiss him, this is already a proof that Ash has romantic feelings. Pokémon is a family-friendly show, therefore, the kiss was consented. If Ash only loved Misty and had no romantic feelings towards Serena, this kiss scene would be a scene showing... you know what. And the creators of a family-friendly anime would never do that.
