Omggg this helped me so much!! I bought mine about 3 weeks ago and it’s fell on me twice but this helped figure what I was doing wrong…. Key note DONTT screw the bolt to the top of your base on the top pole.💀🤣

Girl you are right I'm glad I kept searching, your video is perfect! The ring thingy that goes around the black thing i can't remove it so that I can spin the black piece higer to the ceiling. Did I strip it or screwed on too tight?

Screwed to tight but the bottom is where there should be another screw to spin but it uses the Allen key and could be easily stripped

You have to twist it until it start to come up lefty loosely righty tighty
