Incredible Homemade Mini Drill Press. Hello, friends! I'm excited to share with you the results of my latest project. I have just completed work on the smallest drill press in my collection. This drilling machine turned out to be extremely compact, simple, yet challenging to create due to the meticulous attention to detail required during the manufacturing process. I crafted almost all the parts on a lathe, allowing my imagination to run wild. As is tradition, I utilized various salvaged materials found in my workshop, giving the mini drill press a unique and artistic touch.
The outcome surpassed my expectations, resulting in a beautiful and fully functional mini drill press. To power it, I chose a 24-volt DC motor, which provides ample power and efficiency for its operation.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your support. Please share this video, leave comments, and show your appreciation with likes. Your engagement and feedback fuel my drive to continually improve and pursue creative endeavors.
Once again, thank you all for your support. Each and every one of you is greatly appreciated. Let's keep sharing inspiration and joy in our creative pursuits. Thank you, everyone!

First time I've ever seen someone cut a flat surface on a lathe or cut a slot. Nicely done. Learned something new about them. And it's a nice drill to be added to your work bench.

The use of the lathe was completely unnecessary if you have a drill. I would guess it would be easier and faster without the lathe. * The feet could have been 4 nuts. * The two clamps could have been metal blocks with holes drilled in them a slot hand-sawed into them. Starting from round stock was actually weird andd wasteful if you have square stock. You could make them from hardwood, too. * The large wooden block could have just been drilled and sawn/chiseled. * The gear axle, which they didn't show being made, could be any rod.

This is what engineers do, we find a way. And if he had had a four jaw chuck for his lathe, the piece would have run central and save extra slide travel. Yeah! That will do nicely. A lot more power than I had guessed. I liked the way you basically made it a kit you put together at the end instead of having it built out over the course of the video. Very COoL. p.s. I wonder if adding a small "flywheel weight" just above the chuck- at the brass coupling, would smooth it out even more. Blaw blaw. I shouldn't mess with perfection. Cheers from So.CA.USA 3rd House On the Right. SUBBED!

I wonder how it would have gone, if you had just used the lathe to cut off the screw heads of the feet, once secured in them, before cutting off the feet? Might have given a cleaner end, that oh could have also slightly chamfered. Ideas for the future.

Можно отрезанной частью винты вкрутить/вклеить в ножки (для эстетики), добавить силиконовые накладки для уменьшения скольжения и вибрации. Не хватает ограничителя нижнего положения или сквозного отверстия в станине.
