I was in the group that made this recording, and I will tell you that the climax at 3:09 was something ethereal. This arrangement is dedicated to two incredible people who's lives were cut way too short. We played this for THEM, and were able to express something through the music that we couldn't do with words in regards to their loss.

B flat minor I think? I could be wrong though

+Ramonito Roldan what do you think of this arrangement for Concert Band? :) I feel it gives a completely new dimension to the piece, though the "serene" part of it is not really there. :D

I'm not quite sure what is meant by the semibreves joint by thick lines, could someone please explain what that asks of the player?

Houston Black Thank you very much :) I was aware of tremolo used to signify flutter tongue in winds, rolls in percussion etc. I have always seen that kind of tremolo (now you've told me what it is) in chimes parts but was curious when I saw it used for the saxes and clarinets. Once again, thank you for clearing that up for me
