Даже без вокальной партии звучит как самодостаточное произведение... Это исполнение Рахманинов бы оценил! Браво!

Just so nice that the tempois not rushed but allows the melody time to develop and of course lets the romantic passion to unfold

yduzlf9fpgueuaheufkfjf It is a classical song. Not an opera aria. I am a classical singer for the last 25 years. A “piece” is generally an instrumental work. Singers sing songs (which is what “aria” means in Italian and “Chanson” means in French, which are terms used for “song” in classical music) This is a piano accompaniment to a Rachmaninov song. You want to call it a piece? That’s fine. It’s not wrong. But it’s a song.

Thankyou to Christian Dawson for this. We never see what the pianist offers to a song and this is a fine song with a STAGGERINGLY difficult accompaniment. I know...I used to try to play it, but not with nearly so much bravura as you. Fascinating, and the final few even more difficult bars were the best of the lot.

Wow! Christian Dawson. This is appallingly difficult and uncomfortable to play...and you handle it all withe complete aplomb. How are the tips of your fingers after all those black note runs and repeated chords. Super stuff.

Have you ever encountered a singer that merits your playing? Song requires singers with voice, voice and more voice. Thought that Rostropovich might conjure it out of his wife, but not quite. My standards are high but so is the quality of your playing.
