You could, you'd have to put in more time, but it's possible. He does a lot of simple things, but with a bit of design engineering he turns an ocean of simple things into something incredibly complex and pleasing. Take for example the fine detail. You might struggle to make fine detail like SC can, but you can make incredibly fine strokes, over a albeit longer degree of time you can accomplish detail. It's painstaking, The lower your ability the higher the demand for time, blood, sweat, and tears. It is doable. My friend bought a model and was incredibly frustrated, but he took very slight painstakingly gradual steps, often having to redo it, but he made an incredibly detailed and fine piece. He always considered himself a bit s*** and even I was shocked of what he had made, but he grinded it out and I guess it taught me that discipline is just as if not greater than "talent".

@jumpkicking Hobby Bible words! People don't take into account the absurd amount of hours put into this, no to mention the hours of experience under the belt. And still... taking your time, possibly more that it should be due to trials and error, anyone can pull a decent result or at least be satisfied with it. Bottom line for me is nowadays people just want the photo (that amazingly beautiful hidden beach), but neither they want to take the steps into the wild, nor would enjoy them. Its all about the destination...when in fact, like all in life the destination is just part of the trip and it should be enjoyed as a whole.

@@zamo9660 To put it into perspective, a photo can be rendered down to pixels. If you could merely attribute the right colour to a single pixel, with an array of correct colours in the correct place you can literally make any image, you can literally make photos with nothing but microsoft paint and the pencil tool...

@@jumpkicking Spot on man, I'm a portrait artist as a side gig and I try to explain to people that skill is really just speed. Anyone could paint a very accurate portrait, it just might take them a full year of constant micro alterations. Whereas I can do it in a few days. And people who are better than me can do it two hours with a fraction of the brush strokes. But you can achieve any outcome if you're just patient enough.

Hello Sergio, Lion El'Jonson is such an incredible model and you did him Justice like noone else did. Each time I'm watching one of your videos I'm amazed, amazed at such a poetic approach to painting. You are truly talented, i think talent is not the technical prowess you can pull off but what you can share from deep within while displaying such expertise. Hats off to you and your incredible mastery, and also all the works that goes in there, because not only is the paintjob itself mesmerizing but the fact you are generous enough to make sure you have good quality shots on every of those steps in the process... simply breathtaking. Thank you for this video that profoundly moved me.

Honestly, impressionalism in mini painting is so good to see, and amazes me how it demonstrates light and distance obscuring the way our brain processes thing. Your painting is phenomenal with such a rough style close up, but stunning from a distance. On a different note: you spent roughly 5 minutes worth of video (maybe even more) showing us boring clips of paint being mixed. Meanwhile, your editor didnt even bother to show a complete 360 of the finished model at the end. I get that the editing is to try and feel epic. But come on, these are youtube videos, not oscar nominated films. We come to your channel to watch and learn how you are using your unique style to paint models, not excessive shots of airbrush mixing. That 5+ mins would have been much better spent showing us more of the nmm or green armour techniques..... or maybe even a rotated proper angle of the head to show angles. Instead of dramatic, it just gives this feeling of frustration with how much the edit cuts out the painting in favor of filler junk.
@techboi_4204 ай бұрын
I agree with the first half, but differ on the second as you are being a bit "extra" The music, the shots of the artist, the shots of mixing, filling up the airbrush...I did feel I was watching something cinematic. And I did get a little emotional. He has a short on ig. If people don't want filler, there's that And he shows how he mixes... his brush strokes... you get everything
@rhurac509625 күн бұрын
Disagree. I like seeing the color scheme selected, and how they are thinned. The scenes also serve as queue for the next stage of painting. Agree on the final display, the payoff was cut way short. Stunning model, bravo.
