I've been involved in the hobby for 34 years and in my opinion Sergio is the greatest miniature painter that I've ever seen. To call him a painter doesn't even begin to do his level of artistry justice. He doesn't paint, he uses the miniature as a canvas that can describe itself. Simply astonishing.

I always try to show that there is room for everything I explain and that they are not nonsense, although I explain them in a very close way and with all my illusion. What matters most to me is to convey the concept of enjoying painting without stress and without mistakes, for me it is a wonderful hobby and I want to share and help more people to enter and thus to demonstrate that there are many of us who love this concept of art. Very well said. Though there are a few who I would put in the same category of artists. I recall Marko and Aleksandra from Belgrad (craftworld studios) who have a very distingushed style (and both are actually traditional arts masters if my memory serves me well). And there are some more. I really like the artist part of playing properly with colors. It´s actually funny: My canvas game is getting better when painting miniatures, and my miniature game gets better by painting on canvas.

My goodness his precision with the air brush is amazing . I've only been in the hobby 6 months so I stink if I tried to airbrush that precise would be a big splatter mess. This is prolly the nicest painting video over ever seen

It s incredible that not so sharp edge line on hands and face mask when the work is finished be so perfect in the final result... I try always to do very sharp and thin line in edge lighting and probably I wrong . The final result is so awesome

My favourite part about this is how yiu can see the brushstrokes. A lot of high level painters go for an impossibly clean look, so it's good to see one of the best painters in the world doing it like this. It makes it feel a lot more doable when you see the (very minor!) flaws. One thing i would reccomend though is using a mix of purple, yellow and white for the whites of the eyes; it adds more life to a mini without it looking bloodshot. Then just add a dark colour for the pupil and a tiny dot of white.
