I agree totally that todays dancesport has become way too imprisoned by technique and body mechanics. This subject is one I'm passionate about, because whilst technique is what makes dancing excellent, the subject of what Sergiu is talking about here is what makes it beautiful both for the dancer to perform and the spectator to watch. If you only want to produce excellent, technical, precice, dynamic dancing then don't bother with this subject. If you do want to produce beautiful dancing a well then this is essential learning.
