Hello Mr. Collop, Can we use regular pipette for 4 ml and micropipette to draw 0.64 ml to be more precise or will it actually interfere with obtaining the proper concentration?

Good question. Every time you make a measurement with a pipette, there is some human error associated with it. As a result, you should do as few measurements as possible when dispensing as single volume. Also, for the Lab Practical, I will only allow you to used serological pipettes (2 mL, 5 mL & 10 mL) for the Serial Dilution. So practice your skills with the pipette controller over the coming weeks.
