@@ThatArabGirl10Unfortunately, this is something that terrifies me. I am glad that I am an introvert who has a wall up. I had a wealthy stalker when I was 18-22, not as wealthy as the guy in the story, but he came from a well known family that had millions and millions of dollars. He wasn’t awkward & odd looking, he was actually charming and very good looking. He once broke into my house, meaning I caught him IN my house, and when I tried to report him (multiple times at different stations), the cops wouldn’t even write a report on this guy or take a statement or anything. I had “friends” tell me they wished he would stalk THEM… yeah I wish he would’ve too. I’m pretty sure his family paid off the cops to cover up for him. It’s terrifying what people can get away with when they have a handsome face and money.
@mikaylajoelle42495 ай бұрын
I know your pain. People like to romanticize being stalked but if you’ve actually been fortunate enough to live through it there’s nothing romantic or sexy about it AT ALL. I don’t even feel joy when I’m sent flowers anymore because it reminds me of all the relentless attempts from this man to be in contact with me and how many times it had me crying my eyes out wondering when it would all end. There’s nothing cute about it. & that’s just the subject of flowers.. I won’t even get into the fear of seeing the same type of truck, hearing a motorcycle or constantly looking around or out windows while in public, finding AirTags everywhere, multiple visits to the police stations. It’s deplorable behavior and these people should be ashamed of themselves.

Good to hear someone stayed away from the party scene growing up. I could have been a police officer, scored number 4 on the aptitude test. During my interview the officer saw on my application that I had experimented with drugs. He said my interview was over, he could not hire me due to the drugs I tryed as a young person. I wanted to be in law enforcement all during high school, I was devastated. Partying leads nowhere good. I've be sober for 20 years now, no drugs no alcohol. Feel incredibly good being sober.
@haleysheaghost7 ай бұрын
I'm sorry that you were unable to be an officer due to a youthful indiscretion, and I hope that with that door closed you have been able to find something that makes you happy that was meant for you all along, but I just came to this comment to say that I am proud of you for being sober and you sound like you would have made a great and empathetic cop - 20 years is such a huge achievement and if nothing else I wanted you to hear that, even if it's from a stranger. I've been clean and sober for 16 months, and it hasn't been easy every step but it is always worth it so I have to agree wholeheartedly with what you said. Best wishes 🍀

This is premium storytelling. Dougie interacts with people in different comment sections, and leaves easter eggs about those comments in different stories. That's cool. It's hard to explain, but something like "vacation energy" is an example. I was in a comment thread about that expression and how funny it was, and then in this story he mentioned it like 3-4 times. I don't think that's random. That's immersive storytelling!

I'm older but from NY. I've heard stories about him and a few others from the family blood line. It's crazy watching this video right now because I swear I had the same experience but the guy never gave his last name. I ran so quickly because I caught the first extremely creepy red flag, but I remember the story in the newspapers and on every headline after my experience. I knew I had just dodged a bullet it's scary that your story gave me a fuller understanding of how dangerous that person was. It's crazy we met the same person and we have both survived. I'm glad he was put in jail years ago but I don't know where his family sent him because I figure they bailed him out and probably sent him to another country. I'm glad you made it to tell the story because it was a crazy experience. Thank you for sharing your story.

Marty is the MVP of this story! That was a super satisfying ending.

That was quite a story ! A narcissist. Money gain him happiness, and he had no love 💔. A spoiled entitled child. He couldn't have picked nicer friend's 😂. Phew Glad you escaped that one 🎉

Very well thought out. And the Harry Potter reference was perfection. As well as thanking the creep at the end. I've shared your channel with a few people I know enjoy similar content on podcasts

I just had my hubby watch this & I had to hear it again, but when I tell you my hubby had an expression of sheer horror, we both lost it when he realized he was taken in😂😂😂 this was even better the 2nd time around ❤ “Remus, Sirrius?, my old friends” 😂😂😂
