And he isn't as committed to making jokes, he isn't even a comic by profession really. He is just occasionally funny and on point. Got to remember, that truly shy people don't put themselves in these situations where they are on international, unscripted, unrehearsed tv. He's just a brilliant actor in addition to simply a comedian to pull this off. Another fantastic example is Angella Dravid on the NZ version of taskmaster. Comic genius playing the shy/awkward type.

Besides being the first to feature 'co-losers', here's a few records set from this series: - It's the first series in Taskmaster history to be won by the person sitting in the leftmost seat (or, in other words, the first person alphabetically), although Adrian Chiles also did the same in the second New Year's Treat. - It's the first since series 3 not to feature any tiebreakers, so it makes sense one of them got promoted to a main task (the snort tongue one). - Dara won by the highest lead to date, I'm not 100% sure but I think he was 10 points ahead of Sarah; the highest before was 8, which has occurred multiple times.

If you ever want to know what is going on in the head of an autistic person just watch how Fern interprets the tasks. And I also love how hilarious she is with it. She's has fun with the way she thinks, and I think that's great.

its always a credit to alex and whoever, with the choosing of the contestants every series. you have a good mix of people , who know and have performed together, and some who meet for the first time. i know its television but the guests always seem to gel so well. by the end of the series the banter and studio sets are so comfortable to the viewer. i worked in health care during the pandemic and this show and 8 out of ten cats was my safety blanket nightly. loving series 15.
