The bit where it cuts to Ivo, with his head in his hands, followed by a brief pause, before Frankie slowly turns towards him, and says “You just couldn’t shut the fuck up, could you Ivo”, is pure comedy gold; the comic timing is the very the personification of perfection- like something you might see in some classic sitcom. This was an amazing series, with a seriously fantastic cast.

Now imagine the raw footage of the handcuff task - as they say was heavily edited in his favor. Yes, he was the new Ed Gamble. There are fans who love the show for the cats and their chemistry. I fell in love with TM because of the tasks. If they meet the right cast, that's just a bonus. E.g. See how the "Eat the Grape" is almost half entertaining without David Correos, or how "Score 11 points" were ruined by a glasses man. But the tasks are still brilliant. This series' tasks were mediocre to my taste. And the great cast couldn't really elevate it. The camera crew and the editing was 100% as always, though. Mae finding the extra pineapples was a brilliant moment and well delivered to the screen.

When he was seriously ill with leukaemia, i recorded them for him to watch with me when he was better, and thats just what we did. 4 years on, he got secondary cancer and was always tired. He couldn't keep his eyes open for more than 2 mins. Although i continued recording them, it became clear he would never watch them again. His leukaemia came back and he got sepsis and died. I was thinking that if a contestant just placed their hand on the jelly, would that count? Because they weigh however much they way, and they are on top of (and on) the jelly. Nowhere does it say that the jelly has to support the full weight of what's on top of it, so I wonder if that would be an accepted workaround or if Alex and the crew would object and insist on doing the task in the spirit of the instructions.

This show doesn't need outtakes. It needs 45 mins more run time per episode and all the outtakes in the actual episodes.

Shame they didn’t include the bit where Frankie accused Ace of Base of being nazis, but I can see where that might be something you don’t want on the socials

These outtakes really help fill in the gaps of the story, no wonder Ivo's whackamole was scored so low!

One of my favourite things about when they release outtakes is that when you're watching the show it all makes sense, but out of context everything sounds like absolute nonsense - and I think that's delightful (context, I'm up to the pineapple/banana debate)

@@catsdogsandlego10000Mae said that it says "I'm so full of hate!", but I totally understand your confusion because before they clarified that, I thought the doll was saying "I'm so bulky!"

Wish they'd keep this in and just release another longer 'Uncut' version. You know, like they did with 8 out of 10 Cats when they released a normal 30 min version and later that week a 50 min one

trust me I do as well, but it's A LOT harder to do with something like TM than more traditional panel shows like 8oo10C or QI. there's a great interview with lead editor Rebecca Bowker elsewhere on youtube, and one of the many things talked about is that kind of distinction.

@@kevinw712 I guess, but most of these seemed like bits cut for time. And seeing how last series' outtakes even had more context about Ardal's table-tennis bat, I think they'd improve it

Such a perfect cast. Most seasons it feels like there is 1-2 people who are not adding as much as the rest, but every contestant this season really added to the show. I particularly loved Mae and Frankie (because i already knew and liked their work beforehand), however all the contestants were brilliant and the dynamics were great
