Series 2 is what made me an obsessed Whovian. Series 1 was phenomenal too but I was skeptical as a kid about the whole regeneration thing 'Would it be as good?' I soon realised how Ironic that question was. School Reunion is that bridge between old and new who that I needed as a Kid. Fantastic upload.

Tennant was my first with this season so I never experienced Regeneration at all in those four to five years of his era. But I did learn more about the show during that time and watched Classic Who and learned about how it was a staple of the show so I just accepted it. Until Tennant changed to Smith and I had that EXACT question because I loved Tennant so much and I’m glad I kept watching to this day.

@@GibbySoapBox Thanks for that story. I like these stories from people like myself who first were introduced to Doctor Who in the new era. I just remember 2005 my dad saying Doctor Who is coming back. Had no idea what he was talking about and soon I became more obsessed than him :D

@@seanbhoycfc4834 it’s amazing still how big this era was when it aired. We had Doctor Who and lucky enough to have two or three different spin off shows that expanded the amount of content we could watch. Between that and Classic Who on syndication that my Mom would record for me, I think there was no way I could have not loved this show. And School Reunion is still one of those episodes that I watch countless times and post 2011 makes it feel so bittersweet to know that episode was never the end of Sarah-Jane and her time on the show.

@@GibbySoapBox Man, I think I met my whovian counterpart! Couldn't agree more, it was a golden age. We had Doctor Who at its best itself. We had the Sarah Jane adventures for kids and not so much the whole family show and Then Torchwood for the adult audience and what I think gave Doctor who more respect among more mature viewers. I had my Sonic Screwdriver and so much other merchandise every Saturday beyond excited to watch my show with my dad. It was our thing. Series 4 did an infinity War before infinity War was even a thought lol this is why when skeptics say DW will never be back to this level of popularity again I remind them of what a comeback it's already had in the past Doctor who was bigger than ever during the Ten and parts of eleven's era and that was after the horrible fading away of the late 80s Doctor Who is the definition of a series that can be rebooted whenever. So, they talk about bad ratings or whatever. All temporary with this wonderful series

my favorite season with so much beautiful moments and emotions...."Get me back!" and "Rose Tyler..." gets me the most...i'm crying like a baby every time that i'm watching....once i was crying so bad, that my husband hugged me for couple of minutes (he's not hugging person) and after bring me tea with cookies...always breaks my heart...and also,, Sally's (the cyberman) death makes me feel so sorry and sad...every dramatic moments are great...Russell did incredible job💔

13 Fear her (never again pls) 12 Tooth and Claw (SO eh, except for Queen Victoria and Torchwood setup) 11 Love and Monsters (I kinda love it but also it's so bad and can't be higher up the list) 10 The Idiot's Lantern (good setting, slightly duff plot, still underrated tho) 9 New Earth (funny, interesting, with good world building but the resolution was bad) 8 Army of Ghosts (good but not as good as Doomsday) 7 School reunion (Sarah Jane and K9! Need i say more? Krillitanes are one of the better monsters of the week imo. Very nostalgic but still kinda filler.) 6 Rise of the Cybermen (very actiony, Cybermen cool 👍) 5 The Girl in the Fireplace (very entertaining and brilliant but slightly overrated imo... too similar to lots of moffat's later ideas, plus the doctor is quite careless of Rose and Mickey) 4 Age of Steel (introduces the Cybermen and parallel universe, all round great build up) 3 Doomsday (very tense and emotional) 2 The Impossible Planet (creepy as heck, very memorable side characters) 1 The Satan Pit (tense as heck, one of my all time faves)

I'm honestly pretty flabbergasted that of the last month's videos (last 35 videos), leading up to the New Year's special, only 5 of them have been promoting the special at all. 19 of these videos have been promoting David Tennant's era, despite it having been 14 years since it aired.
