I don't think I've ever got into reading 'series of books' but last year I did finish Trollope's 'Barchester Towers', having done 'The Warden' the year before. They're part of his 'Barsetshire Chronicles' series, even though most of the books can be read as stand-alone volumes, so I guess this kinda qualifies as reading a series (even if only at the rate of one a year).
