Great video Kee. I have a Series X and I love it. It is clearly superior to the 4.1/XL or whatever. Couldn't help but wonder about 'truth in advertising' laws while watching this. Keep up the good work, your products and commitment to brewer focused product develpopment is commendable and greatly appreciated.

I am so happy with my series x. All tanked up and ready. Thanks kegland. No need for lights. Only wish you had said we need the slim kegs to fit four. Now I can however fit two slim and two fatter, if you see what I mean.

I have a series X and it is in my shed. I always need a torch to connect up and move things around. An LED light would be fantastic

Thanks for that. Unfortunately we already purchased a couple containers of 4.1 and they are not really selling so well so we are wondring what to do now with this stock. I would have though some customers would want the cheaper model but sounds people are more interested in better build quality and better power efficiencies.

LED light would be super handy. At the moment I use a small hand held torch when I open my Series X, especially for doing stuff with the back 2 kegs.

Happy to see my current series X is still the best kegerator around. I'm a big fan of all kegland products but have to say is a bit disappointing how the products distribution abroad works. I bought a 60l all rounder in Brazil at brewhead shop (same place I got the series X). Now, after 2 years of use, I got to replace my tank but there is no such an option, I have to buy another complete fermenter if I want to stick with the all rounder. This is very frustrating, I believe if you sell abroad a product that have parts that need to be replaced over time, you also need to sell those replacement parts!!!

Yes it's the way to go and still use the Series X myself. The price difference is negligable. If you really can't get spare parts our China office can send them out to you directly but it's best to go to the local distributor first.

Yes we will soon have a new model that is entirely clad in stainless steel. Hopefully in the second half of 2023.

I'm surprised the energy usage difference wasn't greater - 18% more energy with 43% less insulation? 6kwh/week works out at a bit over 300kwh/year, or $150-$200 per year in Aus. I think having a model with another $100 worth of insulation (and maybe a fan forced condenser) would pay for itself pretty quickly. The ongoing running costs has been the issue stopping me upgrading to a KL Keggerator from my very frugal old chest freezer.

We did try to make the test as fair as possible but this was done in an air conditioned room. I am pretty sure when the weather heats up the power savings will be much more but in an air conditioned room at 26C this was the result.

Hello guys, love your stuff. I would like to run 2x 65L Brewzilla + 2x 35L boilers at ( roughly ) the same time during a brewday + an 24/7 aircon running + 2 freezers . Would an 32A circuit breaker for all of that ?

Youd need to do some math - it really depends on how much energy each of these consumes. A 32 A circuit at 240Volts is 7680 Watts ( I = P/V -> 32 = P/240 -> P = 7680), 7680 is not that much for all of that, it really depends on how much the aircon and freezers are using - get a watt meter and plug each appliance into it and run a typical use case and keep an eye on it, note down the peak power usage and use that

Go with the Series X. It is a fantastic kegerator. I have never regretted dropping the money for mine. When I move I fully intend on getting another. Did I mention it is fantastic?

Should look at the surface area of the condenser coil rather than the length of the tubes or the geometry. Do you have any information of the surface area? Or at least the total length of the coil tube and outer.inner diameters.

We did end up cutting this open actually and the tube length was the same in the end and the Series X had about 17% longer length. Both tubes were 4mm OD.

Just got my series X last month and love it. Only issue is it arrived with dinted door 😔. Only minor but annoying. Will get it wrapped I guess. Personally I wouldn't consider the difference in the models are worth getting the poorer quality. Happy Beer drinking Xmas to yah all 🍻

I just got my series X. What is that grey sticker on the back side? How far must be the backside of kegerator from the wall? I have that cylopeptane sticker on my series X. Is it safe? Any chance of leak? Thank you.

Its an info sticker :). Rear clearance is irrelevant, but you must have a minimum of 100mm per side

Well the compressor was cycling on and off a lot more with the 4.1 so I assume the compressor will probably die sooner.

Here in EU the basic price is around €930 Euro. Pretty stout prices. So most brewers here rather made a DIY New Kegerator for around €400 euro, then buying a KegLand series X for € 930 up to €1400. For people that are not handy or have loads of money these KegLand series x are the way to go. But For 1K + price i would expect a more durable quality and better thicker isolation. Energy prices are sky high here in EU Reich because off that USA NATO Proxy war with Russia. So we too are looking for low energy consumption devices.

@@KegLand Netherlands Sir. A single keg kegerator for one 19L keg would be nice. A 10 gallon Stainless Steel Brite tank like SS brewtech has is also a product what I like to see from Kegland. Jacketed for water cooling with tc clamps. 🙏🏻

Energy efficiency is the main difference. Also cooling speed and build quality in general is better with the series X

I have the series X and would recommend it to all. Im not really seeing the value in this cheap downgrade copy. Copying to a certain point goes on all the time but its always best when it adds value with not only a cheaper price but worthwhile improvements. This clearly fails in doing that.

Just out of interest are you outside? The guard rail is chrome plated steel. With that said we could make a stainless steel version if you think that is necessary.

LED lights. YES please! To see what I'm dooing in there! It's dark! Adjustable fan speed... Yes please! To reduce noise when required. Fans are noisy!

That is a fair point. We have had a couple other people say that. We will look at doing this. We can use more quite fans but they just do not circulate as much air and as a result they are not as efficient. So it's a trade of beteween sound and efficiency.
