I love you are so ladylike and refined, but at the same time so real and genuine. What an inspiration! I believe every single good parents does *sometimes* have doubts about their parenting skills or the decisions they are making regarding their kids. It just goes to show that your childrens well being is more important to you than being right all the time. As long as we get past those feelings and take as an opportunity to self reflect and check our progress, rather than start blaming ourselves endlessly, these moments are crucial. We do need so stay humble and open even, when being confident and determined.

I loved this tag!! Got to know so much more about you!!! 🥰🥰🥰 And I completely agree with you about the passing gas thing. I’ve been married almost 16 years and it’s verrrrry rare that I do that in front of my husband... to me it’s a courtesy thing. Right?! And, he’s good about that stuff with me too. I appreciate him! I have three sons though, so they make up for all of our 참어-ing!! Hahaha I did have a question to ask though! Do you have a particular religious faith? And if so, how much a part part does it play in your living, family life, etc.
@SerinaHwang6 жыл бұрын
haha yes I agree it is a courtesy thing! My family is Christian, my husband's is Buddhist. I respect both faiths but I consider myself agnostic at this point in my life. :)

I loved your way of answering each and every single question. There were some pretty tricky questions that could have been interpreted negatively but you answered those with a lot of compassion and honesty. I didn’t feel as though you had to make an effort to come across as a calm or kind person. I think you simply are :)

I came to your channel for the practical information (skin care etc.), but stayed for so many other reasons! I feel you are a very genuine, kind and honest person, not putting on an act. Also I love how you sometimes do show your goofy side, although you for me too seem very put together (the looks and your behaviour combined). Clearly you are very intelligent and deep. I am not at all suprised that you are an introvert; I sense it from you. I am one myself and think, inner shyness sometimes can show the person being more sensitive and empathic towards others feelings. I feel in many cultures people don’t always remember that one can be vert unique and sincere even while having good manners and being considerate towards others. One of the reasons, why I love watching your videos, is hot they theach me these good manners, very thoughtful behaviour, while being honest and confident being myself. I really keep learning so much from you! ❤️❣️

Ps. The fart part was my favourite. I have troubles with understandind social norms because of mental trauma. I hate farting in front of others and don’t appreciate others doing so with me. Of course I try to not worry about it too deeply, when being with my BF, cause he doesn’t mind it (even though he never does it in front of me).

Hi Serina, I stumbled upon your channel by chance because of your natural skin care products video. As I watched a few more of your videos, my first impressions was that you are a very organized type of person who seems very well put together. I think it's because of the way you speak. The manner you speak in is very gentle, calm, positive, inspiring, confident and encouraging, it's almost as if a motherly-type of friend is speaking to me or giving me advice. I really love the positive atmosphere you radiate in your videos ^^

I love these videos! I feel like we get to know you more. Can you talk a little more about how you moved to Korea and met your husband?? Seems like an interesting story! Did you have any trouble with your in laws? (Being super "Korean") Currently going through this situation myself.
@SerinaHwang6 жыл бұрын
Very good question actually! I can probably talk for hours about this. When you get married, essentially two families come together and it can be challenging at times, but I think what's worked for me is to always be honest with them and to do it with a loving heart. A lot of times, they think the way they do because they just haven't had to opportunity to see things in a wider perspective. And of course, with certain things you know really can't be changed...you just gotta agree to disagree and let it go. That keeps everyone sane haha :)

I really love how to speak very clearly and annunciate every word correctly. Is this something that’s just natural to you? I would greatly appreciate if you can share how you obtained this skill?
@SerinaHwang6 жыл бұрын
Since I work in broadcasting I had to focus on my speech and pronunciation. As much as I hated hearing myself in the beginning, I monitored myself a lot and corrected some things I didn't like just through a lot of practice both in front of the mirror and recording myself on my phone. Hope this helps! :)

It is really hard to guess the age of Asian people. They look soooo young. She looks in her 20s but probably with 2 kids she may be in her 30s. And she is very beautiful too :)

Hi,Serina. Great video getting to know you better and some of the questions were what I have been wanting to know actually.Since I started watching your video, I ended up buying a lot of products you had or recommended. I'm noticing that you have tons of different kinds of products : you have toners / oil / cream of many different brands.Do you use all your products until they're done? BTW I can't get my eyes off of your super white teeth on this video. What 's your secret ? I want to keep my teeth white. ^^
@SerinaHwang6 жыл бұрын
Hi Mila! I do use a variety of brands but I personally don't think I have a lot. I don't like to waste so I'm very careful about the products I purchase now. And yes, when I buy them I use everything to the last drop (unless I absolutely hate it.) As for my teeth, I haven't bleached them or anything, I just make sure I floss and brush often. If I could give you one tip it's to always swish your mouth with water after anything sweet or anything that could stain your teeth like coffee and water. I learned this from my dentist! :)

do you have any tips on raising kids in a privileged household? do you ever worry about your kids growing up spoilt?
@SerinaHwang6 жыл бұрын
aw thank you! and yes, spoiling them is one of my biggest concerns. A few things I pay a lot of attention to is providing my kids with more experiences than things and always making sure they're respectful to others. :)

Funny story: The first time I farted in front of my BF, was the same night, I first told him, I kove him. Later he said, he didn’t even notice it (the latter). 😄
