Doing some catching up on my KZbin’s. I just got my power back on this morning, three plus days without electricity. Hurricane Milton was one wild ride! Rain and wind galore, but thank God we got none of the tornados, for the most part they stayed on the south side of the hurricane, I was on the north side. We just got torrential rains, though. I’d like to thank people who were praying for us, thank you very much, God is great! ✌🏼❤️

I feel so grateful that with the 125 tornado warnings and watches that were in effect, God spared myself and friends and family from tornados. Hey Paul, I've heard you mention in the last couple videos your hip discomfort from sitting in your truck too long...I can relate. I had a similar issue in my car. Figured out it was from the seat being too low to the floorboard. I stop driving the car and only drove my truck and was fine. As soon as I'd drive the car again, hip pain. For me, the taller seats in the truck helped a lot. Having power adjustments is great to experiment with different positions (up/down/tilt). I hope you can find a solution. Joint pain stinks and I know it keeps getting worse with age. Keep that bike riding going to keep those hips limber!

Yes, people do drive faster in the morning. I've never understood the weird urge to risk one's life on the way to work... And...I've been trying to figure out the trash pick-up routes in my neighborhood for over 50 years. You'd think they'd find a system that works and stick with it. This week they picked up all three types of containers (trash, recycling, yard waste) before noon, but sometimes those pick ups are scattered throughout the day, with the last pick up late in the afternoon. They must have SOME sort of system, though, because there aren't trash trucks randomly cruising around the neighborhood after pick ups have been made.

It's been over two days and my trash cans are still full at the curb. I got an automated response this morning to confirm that services have been rendered. They haven't. And it's my whole side of the street. Maybe 10 houses didn't get their trash picked up.

Not only because some people may not have room in the can to put the coming week's trash, but because good citizens are loath to leave their trash cans on the curb after they've been emptied...or even if they haven't. In my neighborhood, the most often missed cans are the recycling bins. They (almost) always pick them up the next day, though. My theory is that they don't have enough trucks for the volume that has to be picked up on any given day.
