Im travelling to Sendai in a few weeks and they have a tourist bus route called “Loople” and I’ve seen similar things in Tokyo and other smaller cities. It’s surprising that Kyoto never had dedicated tourist buses and routes until now. Maybe there weren’t enough drivers or too few buses to make it viable.
@yo2trader5399 ай бұрын
Kyoto has too many buses already. Kyoto built two sub-way lines to ease some of the traffic congestion...and the debt is still financially haunting Kyoto city. Simply put, Kyoto has always said they don't want this many foreign tourists.

This growing trend of tourists treating other countries like a theme park isn't just happening in Japan and I find it abhorrent. I'm starting to feel like countries need to start throwing out harsher zero tolerance punishments. Maybe if there were reports of tourists spending a couple days in a Kyoto prison or needing to pay an exorbitant fine for carving their name into a bamboo tree, some of these idiots might start thinking twice.

Well I went to Japan. From Vancouver to Thailand for two weeks then Thailand to Osaka Japan on March 21st. Went to Universal Studios and walked the whole day. Kids had sore throat as I did. By 8:45pm I was pretty tired. Called a cab and left for Del Style hotel in the Osaka shopping area with that strip covered by the long glass roof. Got out of the cab. Was very thirsty and could barely move. My 10 year old said dad you’re pale looking. I hobbled over and walked over to the outside chairs of a new coffee shop. Waved my wife over and she’s like not again. 13 years ago in HK I turned pale and got dehydrated and took Ambulance ride and then 3 bags of IV to recover. Also Covid March 2020 also took ambulance and discovered high potassium and irregular heart beats during Covid initial stages. Also known as Hyper Alkemia. It’s what’s found in 50% of Covid deaths is hyper alkemia, when too much potassium in the blood can cause heart attack. The execution bus in the big Asian country, also uses potassium chloride as the final blow to execute people. Back to Osaka story; the shop owner is like omg in the look on his face, it’s my grand opening please don’t bring bad luck to me look. But he didn’t kick me out, as he knew I was messed up looking like death was near. After 30 minutes of body shaking like having hypothermia style, and drinking 1 L of Pocarri Sweat. (Electrolytes drink). And some prayer I was able to walk again and then recovered from dehydration, but took 1 week for that cold, sore throat, With no taste ability for food to go away. I wonder if that’s the same toxic shock syndrome. The Pocarri Sweat saved me. That was close. And some prayers. Else I feel I needed to call the ambulance. But in Japan didn’t know the number as 911 is what I know. I wore a mask on the way home just to make sure to keep others safe back to Vancouver. Pretty scary Stuff. One moment you are fine, next moment battling for life. Same day recovered. But the Virus is pretty nasty. Stay healthy everyone.

Who can forget Logan Paul's shenanigans in Japan? He and his cronies showed disrespect at the most holy temple(throwing coins); they waved a dead fish and squid at people at the Shibuya crossing at rush hour; they dressed as Pokemon and ran screaming into malls, restaurants. But, the worst was when they found a person who had sadly taken his life(hanging) in the forest. Logan and friends filmed the scene while giggling and narrating it on video!

at the same time in NOT excusing disgusting behaviour from tourists, let that be clear! there are too many especially from the UK everywhere in the world behaving like animals, smashing hotel rooms, shouting loudly and drunk in the streets at 4 AM in the morning, fighting w locals, etc, so thats never ok either, im sure not all japanese tourists or asian tourists behave well in other parts od the world either all the time, as a european not from uk i always try to be a GOOD tourists, respectful, etc, but bcuz i travel longtime im not gonna pretend i manage to do it all the time, like when motorbikes drive on the sidewalk where im walking creating potential dangerous situations just bcuz they are in a hurry or are lazy or something makes me angry and i sometimes do not so good gestures like THUMB DOWN or even the finger sometimes even behind their backs but so other cars car and motorbikes can see that that was not ok for me as a tourist...but most of the time i behave, its a REMINDER im in a cheap country becuz its third world and economy is not the only thing that is underdeveloped there unfortunately...u cant get everything everywhere so,.. yeah i agree, many tourists no matter age should never be allowed to travel and if they carve their names into ancient japnese temples they're countries should be notified so not only do they get banned from Japan the next 5-15 years but they should have to wait 2 extra yesrs to get their passports renewed as well in their own countries...its very sad how some ppl ,not most thinks its ok to be criminal in other countries but their own,,,

its droplet infection and on surfaces (but only smooth surfaces) so if somebody is breathing there should be no issue, but if somebody coughs and sneezes, than it can get to you also with kissing, yes. So just wear a mask and sanitize your hands, and you should be totally fine
