I'm glad you had fun with the level! Doing the entire thing deathless is no small feat; I actually never intended the map to be played like that. Each room/arena was built to be its own separate experience stitched together with a couple of corridors. If you're planning on/have done Challenge Mode deathless that's even more insane to the point of sheer masochism, lol. This map was created when I found that another project I was working on had become too ambitious for my own skill set. I did a lot of experimenting here to prove to myself that I was capable of doing what I wanted to do, and also learn some new stuff along the way. The two large side areas and the boss are definitely where I was experimenting the most: working with dialogue, optimizing challenge/fairness, and making custom attacks. (Although, I will admit I made Platforming Land more of as a prank for one of my good friends.) I took everything I have learned up to this point about the serious editor, combat/arena design, scripting, and even my writing skills, then applied it all to this level. I'm proud to hear my efforts have been paying off so well. Also, thank you for your criticisms. - I did my best to make sure the custom enemies fit naturally into the combat and offer something new that no other enemy type could. I also made an effort to remove as much "BS" as I could from them. It's absolutely something I need to choose carefully how to implement. Although funnily enough, those zorg grenadiers are probably my favorite enemy ever, lol. - In retrospect, you're definitely right about the boss's attacks being a little too RNG heavy at times. The combination of attacks that can happen lead to moments of unavoidable damage (ESPECIALLY true in its Challenge Mode version). I will have to look into what I can do to mitigate that here and in the (far) future.

KZbin is hiding your comment for some reason. Thanks for commenting, and yeah, I've done challenge mode deathless. Funny thing, the first time I've played this map I had network scripts disabled for some reason, so no powerups would spawn. I've managed to get to the last arena before the boss fight, but the forcefields wouldn't lower, I thought the map was buggy and unbalanced lol, good that I've checked my mods.

Why are your mouse movement and movement so different from usual?
