Ezra Miller was definitely the right choice to play Kevin. One thing that I don’t agree with in this summary is that Eva pretended nothing was wrong with her son. I didn’t get that from her when I watched it. She knew something was wrong and wanted to find him some help but her husband was the one who refused to believe anything was wrong with Kevin. I’m sure that was due to Kevin acting completely different around his dad.

She noticed a long time ago something was wrong, but her husband didn't listen to her and doctors telling her there is nothing wrong with her son. Her husband just ignored her concerns and even told her she should 'get help'. Society does not look kindly on mothers who son was a school shooter. The film is a good example of why more and more women are choosing to be childfree. This movie is an extreme example of a child carrying malicious hate towards a caregiver or others for no apparent reason. It does happen. Generally speaking though, there is a tangible reason why your child behaves the way they do or feels the way that they feel. Most adults in my life do not take responsibility for the things they have done to make me feel a certain way and ‘accepting it’ instead of taking time to understand what you have done and rectifying it is just one of those things that makes me hate them even more. It just shows how little a person cares about how they treat others.

Can a child be autistic and Psychopathic at the same time?
@espionheart67807 ай бұрын
It's pretty clear that depsite being a sadistic psychopath I think he did it just to get his mum's attention cause I'm pretty sure he knew that his mother never loved him and was jealous that his sister grew up with the motherly love he never got despite being loved by his father it was the father's obliviousness and eva's ignoring him that enabled him to believe he could get away with anything even when he was being arrested, but when we see him during the visisting hours he's learned the hard way that it isn't the case and the worse is yet to come when he turns 18 but at least they are now slowly building a mother/son relationship.

It threw me off a bit how you blamed the mother. It wasn’t her fault. The dude was messed up from birth.

This came out in 2011. The following year was the 2012 sandy hook shooting

The mother did everything she could but she voiced her concerns and even her own husband didn’t believe her. It almost got to the point where it seem lil she would’ve been the one to get thrown into a mentally asylum.

I have read the book, since at a young age the mom always noticed there was always something off about her son. But there is more details. If you get a chance read the book.

Some kids are just evil. We can rationalize it in many ways, but that's still how it is. Not their fault? Maybe, does it really matter though?

Maybe she wanted to see if he was deaf because of all the noise she exposed him to as a baby when he cried nonstop

My opinion of this movie? Why the f**k did a juvenile who committed horrific crimes was not treated as an adult and given life imprisonment without the possibility of parole or death sentence?

She should’ve developed more as. A person and became strong in god to try to raise thst boy up because the narrator does have a point kids don’t ask to be here and the mother did emotionally abandon him technically, even though he was evil. There was still a chance for him as a baby
