FYI - the shipping box 📦 literally has a decent sized sticker on the outside right next to the shipping label which states “FREEZE UPON RECEIPT” My order just arrived ! I am repackaging and freezing my order holding back two while we get the grill started to toast the buns & grill the burgers. Picked up ButterKase cheese to give a whirl too ! @@SeriousKeto YES ! We buttered and threw the buns on the grill ! The bun was AMAZING & held up to my entire burger to the very last bite. It was loaded up with melted butterkase cheese (thank you Woodmans) / fresh tomato / artisan lettuce / slice of red onion / and mustard. Wish I could post a photo with 2 massive bites already eaten from burger. My hubby loved them and added bonus is his glucose was stable if not on the fairly low end this morning during his 1x a day check. This is a SCORE SCORE SCORE ! Am sharing a dozen with my son-in-law who’s been doing amazing on Keto for a few months now - sharing the love & have all 22 buns repackaged into individual freezer bags and put back into original packaging & froze yesterday. GAME CHANGER product !

@keylanoslokj1806 I get Freihofer's reduced calorie Italian bread. It has a serving of 2 slices for 80 Cals and 18g of carbs with 6g of fiber, which gives it a total of 12g of carbs. I try to always pair it with a little more fiber and protien/fat to help. It's definitely not gluten free. This 1 is the best I've found locally.

I can't speak highly enough of the company and their products! I have emailed Jerrod multiple times and I always get a friendly response! I have jam-packed a hoagie roll with a very messy steak and cheese and it held like a champ! If you are familiar with baking, changing from a liquid oil to butter will almost always result in a more tender baked good because of how it integrates into the crumb.

I like them a lot, but I'd estimate that about 10% of the comments I get about UnbelievaBuns are from people who find the texture too "spongy" for their tastes.

Something I warn people about is just because I didn't experience a glucose response, doesn't mean you won't. That said, I have yet to get a comment from anyone telling me that they experienced a glucose spike from UnbelievaBun products.

Had you been my science teacher, I would've had a much better understanding of the mechanisms of testing. As it stands, I do what you do now. I test everything with my cgm plus finger sticks. It's made my journey manageable.

I don't know which CGM you use, but I find it takes about 2 days after applying for the Dexcom G7 to really stabilize in it's readings. It's just all over the place initially. Then, around day 3, the graph gets nice and smooth and level (typically in the 80s). But those first two nights, I have to turn off notifications on my phone because I'll get false "low glucose" warnings that wake me up with an alarm.

I wanted accuracy. Now that I'm so aware of my body, and I eat NO carbs, I am only using it recently to test all the different potential effects of artificial sweetness on my bg.

I’m usually in alignment with your experience & opinions But in the Butter Bun case I went to UnBelievabun web site after your last review and saw the Butterbun was a new/beta product. Ordered them. The tastes of first bite was off-putting, but after about 3 bites into my burger, the bun flavor profile receded to the background such that it was no longer noticeable either good nor bad, it had just become the burger delivery platform. Alas it did start to disintegrate (especially the bottom portion) from burger juices in my case. I wouldn’t say I’d never eat them again, but considering the shipping lead time, and general cost of any shipped keto food product. I was underwhelmed based upon the glowing review. Still in search of my White Whale of bun replacement. 👍😎 But as always, even though I didn’t align with you this time thank you for all you do and your reviews. I do find them extremely helpful & have located many worthy products over the years because of them.

@@SeriousKeto I usually do griddle them but if I’m being 100% honest I can’t recall now several weeks having elapsed but I think maybe not as I wanted to give it a out of the bag chance without adulterating it, even of that is my preference usually. I did not freeze timely enough and I ended up losing several to waste, although I did eat more than just a burger on a single bun. Had some pulled pork as I recall as well after the burger etc. I think I’ll likely give them another chance because I did still find them preferable to say Sola especially if you consider the ingredient profile .

So living on the west coast in Wa state, my order with two packages of butter buns (24 buns), was a total of $58.65 with shipping and your 10% discount and no tax. That is enough for one hamburger a week for six months. That’s $2.44 per burger bun and I add my own meat toppings and that is way less than buying a burger in a restaurant, and you get the low carb. I’ll take that any day!

What I do with mine is I take the buns out of the package and put them into individual sandwich size ziplock bags, then return them to the main package and freeze them. This cuts down the likelihood of frost and/or freezer burn.

Every Mission product (including their zero net carb street tacos) has caused me a glucose spike. They also use hydrogenated soybean oil, which causes me inflammation issues (elbow pain and lower back stiffness). La Bandarita also has a zero net carb tortilla that doesn't spike my glucose and uses olive oil for the fat.

I hope they solve the issue for us "left-coasters". I tried to place an order a few weeks ago and after some back and forth causing delays, I had to give up when I started traveling. Now I'm back home but the main product I want (loaf of bread) has been out-of-stock for weeks. It's a shame since it seems like the west coast could be their biggest potential market. If they can't find a WC bakery to produce their product, perhaps a cold storage 3PL (third-party logistics) partner is the solution. Ship the product to the west coast warehouse frozen in bulk (reefer load) and let the WC 3PL company warehouse and do the order fulfillment. Anyway, looking forward to being able to order this product some day and not have the shipping cost eclipse the cost of the products. Thanks for the review.

It's a great air fryer, thought it doesn't have the biggest basket, and it does a decent job of cooking a steak when I'm feeling extra lazy. I take mine out of the package, put them in individual small ziplock bags, then put them back into the UnbelievaBuns bag and freeze them. This inhibits frost and freezer burn. It says on the bag they can be frozen up to a year.

@@SeriousKeto No doubt. But nothing is cheap anymore so not much you can do. I still do lettuce wrap 90% of the time, as I don't get the bread cravings much anymore.

Bummer on the shipping.😢 $12.58 to ship to SoCal. Going to have to wait for a new bakery out here. My better half would blow a gasket if I spent $30 on 12 buns.
