I agree with the multiple comments about revisiting old recipes. Even on the SK website, sometimes it's hard to find what I want, (NOT due to lack of organization on the website, more likely "user error"). It's fun though to see how much you and Terry have changed over the years. I've been following you since I got serious about Keto in 2020, and your channel is the one I recommend to people who are interested in following the Keto lifestyle because your recipes are delicious and your content is fun. Of course, everyone loves Colton appearances, but I love to see Courtney and Terry as well (it's been awhile since Connor has been on!) and interesting to see the opinions of your "non-Keto people". Love your channel! Keep up the good work!

I hear you about the food thing. This year we did a seafood grill for Christmas day. Spicy rice for carb eaters, a spinach salad. And that was it I bought only enough for the 4 of us to be comfortably stuffed, and that resulted in all the food being consumed. No puddings, the family enjoyed watermelon n and cherries for pudding. Over the years, we have had to economies and I've become minimalist in my cooking/ eating habits. Especially since going carnivore. It's quite liberating Hope you get well soon and enjoy a fantastic new year with your family. I'll keep on watching, though I don't comment much these days You're still my all time fav keto content producer 😊❤

Steve, my daughter cut the work for herself and me this year Thanksgiving and Christmas. She has a broken knee and I have a broken hip so we couldn’t do the things we usually do. We still wanted to get together so we asked everybody to bring their favorite dish and we only prepared the meats, simple turkey and ham. We would normally overwork, but with our broken bones we weren’t able to do much. Everybody enjoyed it just as much. Maybe you can try that sometime oh and by the way for Christmas we didn’t even do meats. It was all finger food and whatever that children and grandchildren wanted to bring and there’s more than enough food for everybody.
@SeriousKeto4 күн бұрын
It sounds like despite your and your daughter's injuries, you pulled together a great night. In an interesting case of serendipity, Connor called last night and suggested that we all get together this afternoon/evening for gaming and family together time without the distraction of present opening and game playing.

Hi Steve. Sorry to hear that you got sick again. Glad you’re getting better. I just watched one of your old videos yesterday on the corn muffin. Happy New Year! I had that problem on Thanksgiving with making too much food. So for Christmas, I was feeling too sick to do much, I had a bad reaction to a medication and I was recovering from that. I smoked a Prime Rib roast, roasted Brussels Sprouts, a Green crunch salad with green beans, peas, asparagus, and broccoli (I think I got it from Ina Gartner years back) and a pot of mashed spuds for the three men who are not on Keto. I didn't make a dessert because I made 5 different gluten-free cookie batches. It was enough and everybody felt full and wasn't over-engorged. Less is more they say!

I always enjoy your recipe videos, so new takes on your favorites and staples is exciting for me! :) I also got way more food than I could, or hsould, eat for the holidays. *LOL* I am resolved to do better next year. Breakfast! I agree with your definition. I don't usually get hungry until 11 AM or 12 noon or so. My GoTo meal is scrambled eggs with salsa and cheese, and bacon. I follow that up with a 5.3 oz no sugar added Greek yogurt. Then an evening meal. This latter is why I want more recipe videos, or redux videos, because I feel like I get in a rut on what I make for dinner each week.

Thanks Steve! Personally, I look for your videos. I'll definitely sign-up for your emails. And I'd enjoy refresher / beginner Keto videos. I was thinking of you yesterday because my wife spoke to her (know-it-all) friend who told my wife that the Keto diet was the worst for diabetics and pre-diabetics because of "... all the fat..." My wife is pre-diabetic, works in a medical industrial complex "doctors" office and doesn't believe a thing I say, nor is she interested in watching any health / nutrition video. I told my wife, Keto is not eating "fat and 'oils'" all day, everyday! I have no idea what her friend, who is vegan, is feeding my wife, and I'm no Keto expert, but the friend is full of crap! And my wife is being foolish, to say the least. My wife can't even take the time to watch a 2 or 3 minute video short, but she spent 2 hours talking to her friend yesterday who grossly misinformed her. I see the day when my wife's health will deteriorate precipitously, and she'll wonder how she got there.

Serious Keto 2.0, perhaps? While I LOVE everything about your channel, I'm a firm believer in a natural kind of evolution/ aka change. The vast majority of your dedicated followers do so because we respect/appreciate and value you and your family. There is no-one in the keto community I trust more to deliver honest, well thought out and or researched data as well as fact based opinions. I can't imagine dealing with the mysteries of KZbin as a means of supporting ones family. I do feel that a lot of the "mystery" is nefarious (jmo and I am quite married to it). Ty for your dedication, effort and for the chuckle I am sure to have when watching. Happy/ healthy 2025 to you and your family.
