Yu Jin feels like a 4D chess of a unit but it's the most easiest of the newest units in the XL Expansion, along with Lu Lingqi. Depending on the element you get from normal strong attack, you can get Lightning for 2-combo, Light for 4-combo, and Ice for 5-combo. Each correct element will give you a black orb and once you get 3, you will receive a Hell element from the normal strong attack which buffs your damage for a bit and changes your normal strong attack. Musou wise, normal and weapon swap is quite slow, and air musou is quite reactive. But weapon swap is the best of the bunch of the musou in my opinion. Overall it's a complicated unit but it's fun to use

Yu Jin, Zhu Ran and Fa Zheng get special cutscenes in the XL stages, as technically they were new characters added in for Xtreme Legends and do not feature in any cutscenes in regular Story Mode.

I think the added cutscene was created to fix the fact Yu Jin barely has any presence in the story ( due to him being a generic officer before the extreme legends expansion), which imo was a Nice move by the devs

I don't think I did these EL battles when I played this game. I am so glad Yu Jin has featured in multiple. I felt like he was a very underutilized in the main game considering (a) how fun he is to play, and (b) how involved he was in Cao Cao rise.

Wei fascination with Guan Yu is probably because in the story Cao Cao spent a lot on converting him. Im honestly surprise that there isnt a scenario where Guan Yu actually leave Liu Bei and join Cao Cao in DW.

Central plain really only referred to the eastern portions of the plains around the north and south of the yellow river. You are looking central from modern China boundary but the term central plain was created when China mainly lived around the yellow river. jing province is the old kingdom of chu lands which were considered the south

Yu Jin was hard to learn to use with his element orb things and i had to look up a guide to figure out how he worked. But once you know how hes pretty strong.
