It seems like sometimes in these videos you encounter a character you're not that familiar with (or its an entirely generated character), since the game doesn't accompany character names with the chinese characters or with tone markers how do you know how exactly to read those names? Is it just familiarity with the specific names and the tones theyre likely to have or something else? Since sometimes there are two family names that are identical in english spelling but with different characters/tones. This is interesting to me so I was just wondering ^_^

No without tone markers I would not know how to say the name. You can go into the character menu and look up the actual Chinese characters or else it’s my best guess.
