Thank you for this 🙏! As someone who at one point was VERY wrapped up in and obsessed with motivational speakers and their messages, then growing in my faith and later feeling like what those speakers were saying was good (the work hard stuff, not the manifest your reality b.s), but still feeling weird about it because it just felt Godless. I greatly appreciate you showing the biblical importance of working hard and how to stay motivated by looking to Gods word 🙏.

Amazing sermon Pastor Jeff! I’m 26 years old and finding my way in Christ and I have never tied laziness with sin. This perspective gives me new subject of prayer and will hopefully bring my closer to Christ in the everyday banality. Amazing amazing message.

As someone who's autistic, thusly incapable of conventional employment, we have to remember productivity isn't determined by societal standards, but God's standard. IF we're incapable of meeting convention, God will make a way for one to be productive in other areas of life.

In it he gave me salvation and showing me i was a slugger in a sence, was full of pride, and a wonderful wife. Very beautiful message But very strong at the same time. Ik some of us do not like to hear this. Thats why most Christians leave Bc when a pastor speaks The truth. ( not talking about wolf 🐺 pastors) It hurts inside Your soul That our demons do not like hearing this. What about working a lot? 6 days a week usually, and very occasionally 7 days a week. I spend about 4-5 days a month with my 10 yr old son, and I wish I could spend more time with him. I've worked much the vast majority of life, going back to when I was 17. Overworking or being a workaholic is unhealthy, because that can take away from our relationships, especialy our relationship with Christ.
@IcyJuggernog Жыл бұрын
It for sure can. Just wasn't what the sermon today was about, the getting lost in your career problem, having an unhealthy love of money, etc is the opposite end of the spectrum. I actually appreciated the sermon just being completely on the sin of laziness rather than constantly running to the other side of the discussion every two seconds, it was very focused.

How do I speak with you Jeff I have many questions about what you preach. I have been trying to find a church for my family but have many conflicting thoughts about religion and what I've learned about science archeology, geology and Earth's general history
@bell5309 Жыл бұрын
God calls us to have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. If you have questions, there is enough evidence to hold up in a court of law regarding the birth, death & resurrection of Jesus Christ. Not to mention the hundreds of prophecies that He fulfilled, prophecies made hundreds and thousands of years before His birth. Jesus is the way to the true and living God, the creator of Heaven & Earth and you can not only know Him but have a relationship with Him. Read the Bible, talk to God. Humble yourself and ask for wisdom and to know the truth. Look to Him for the answers and not the world. The bible says ask and it will be given, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you. A pastor or church can guide and teach you truth but what you need the most is a relationship with God and revelation that only He can give. Seek Him through His word and through prayer, ask Him to put Christians in your path and provide a church for you. He is faithful and He will do it. God bless you & your family.

How productive can you be living with a lazy narcissistic psychopath? Also if ppl in your household don’t want to work inside the home and leave all the chores to one person, it can become discouraging and cipher your spirit. Causing laziness n discouragement, I believe laziness inside the home (many men) should be a cause for divorce. It’s bad for the kids to witness and sets a horrific example for young children

@@godswarrior45 My dad was disabled. He was one of the least sluggard and least lazy people I've ever known. I can't speak on behalf of this pastor, but I think it's the focus on perseverance in the face of adversity, not sleeping your life away, taking risks and making sacrifices to use the gifts/talents God has given you no matter the cost, and repenting of sin. A little disappointed that a teacher of martial arts and a pastor would let "flu" slip out, instead of "fu." It's like those clips of men having a conversation in mixed company and the n-word slips out. Totally forgivable, of course, but also a sign of something. I don't want to presume what that something is or whether it requires repentance, but it is something.
@arlynvillanueva20 Жыл бұрын
What? he didnt intend to say flu, u know people sometimes mispronounce words when speaking fast. Don’t look too much into it, you’ll create a problem out of nothing.
