14:44... "independence" is the sin of the devil, wanting to exalt his throne over God's and be free from His rule. I wrote on this years ago, calling it 'The spirit of independence' and expected some opposition, but only gave the paper to a friend, who died less than a year ago. Now, this whole world wants independence from God, 'pure' religion and, 'the Truth' and may find not 'grace' instead...
