Yes! I learned this as a “transition sentence quote as part of the proposition package. The proposition is restating the exegetical theme by way of a timeless truth. Then you present an interrogative and a transition sentence using the ‘plural noun’ to show how the passage will answer the interrogative based upon the proposition. Blessings! This was SO HELPFUL!!! I graduated from Gordon Conwell Seminary and I was taught the importance of having a single main idea (i.e. subject and complement). But a main idea cannot function or "preach" on its own. I believe the keywords are the highways through which the main idea (like a vehicle) can travel through. Thank you for this.
