I also carry a Modded Glock daily, have been for the past 8 years. Before then it was a Custom 1911. Modified Handguns aren't unusual where I live. 👍🏻🤙🏻

@@adamrodgers2377 it wasnt when I lived in WA state with the crowd I shot with. Modified hand guns was mostly for gaming reasons, why I did roland. Back in MT everyone doesnt understand why I have some many gizmos as the locals call it.

@@GH02T406 It's cool you had the forthought to do that, or at least I think it's cool. I'm in NC and even back in the day custom 1911's have been a thing. I actually have my Daddies Custom Novak Colt Commander 1911 it was my Grandpa's that he bought back in 1956 I believe. It was either 56 or 57 when he bought it. Well it, plus a couple more got passed to my Dad and then to me. I don't think I was the outlier, I am 47 and I can remember my Dad taking me to the Local Hardware Store/Gun Shop in 1987 to see the first Glock G17 that they were able to get, we live so far out in the sticks that it took about 14 months for that Shop to even get that particular Glock and then my Dad ordered one. Anyway I'm rambling, what I was trying to get across is even though my Dad loved the 1911 and he carried all the time himself, he had enough forethought to accept new things like the so called "Plastic POS" everyone back then were calling the Glocks.

My serpa keeps my finger straight and on the frame just below slide. Not even close to trigger well. It is clearly YMMV when it comes to the pistol and your hands. $0.02

25:46 Tex Grebner is the NRA ceritified firearms instructor who said in that viral video, "I just f*&^($g shot myself!" He also put up a follow-up video that zero, and I do mean zero mouths absolutely refuse to acknowledge. Like a religion. As he pointed, the accident was all of his fault, not that of the holster. That day, he was carrying his Kimber .45 ACP 1911 in that holster and had never done in any dry fire practice. So, he goes to pull the firearm out and somehow is finger gets wedged, pressing the trigger. In his follow up video, he laid the blame squarely on himself. But too late, everyone decided that holster was poison. In fact, there is a range about 35 miles from me that bans that holster. If they see you wearing it, you will be commanded, not invited but commanded to leave and never return again, ever, amen. The reasoning, I think, is that if a NRA-certified instructor cannot handle it, you can't. As in, argument from authority.

Nope. I've seen it all. If it was literally any other holster... in the world... He would not have shot himself that day. What a dumb way to think. "i've got a car, that if i don't jerk the wheel violently to the left at least once per minute, the car explodes." *doesn't jerk the wheel violently to the left for one minute *Car explodes. This was the fault of the driver.... It doesn't make the feature anything less than full blown literal retardation.
