Very nice! I've got my eye on one of these at the moment, I've built quite a few Serpents and I love their quality.

@@stonejss727 I'm getting into RC casually with my son. We have a Slash 4x4 and also just got Hoss (Beast mode truck). But considering a 1/8 scale buggy for some casual racing and driving. Which one do you think is best based on your experience ?
@stonejss7272 жыл бұрын
@@duffyrides if your just getting into it a c hub front end is easier to drive right off that bat… I’d go with a serpent, or a tekno… for pillow ball front ends I’d go with mugen or sworkz…. Serpent sells a rtr version for a good price as well…
@duffyrides2 жыл бұрын
@@stonejss727 Thanks. The Serpent RTR SRX8e looks very good for the price. The nitro version also looks great but I am not sure that I want to deal with the headaches of Nitro. I already have two motocross bikes to look after (our other life long hobby)

if I watn to run 6s...two x 3s batteries..what is the max size dimensions i cna fit?? lmk plz!
@stonejss727 Жыл бұрын
Im not sure… the kit doesn’t come with the dual pack layout…you have to buy it separately… I’m guessing it will only fit 2s packs because the battery is held in by hard plastic brackets… you’d have to get 3s hard packs no higher than 6000mh and figure out a way to use Velcro straps… good luck it’s be fast on 6s

What buggy drives the best for you. I'm looking at the d819, MP9 , and the SrX8 pro. Sworkz looks good too
@stonejss7272 жыл бұрын
I’ve driven all of them except for the sworkz… I’m no pro….but the easiest to drive fast with would be the HB and the kyosho a close second … the serpent drives like the HB but has a little more steering…as of now I’m going with the serpent…it has a little more of a learning curve but I feel like I might be even faster with practice. I’ll always keep my HB it’s my favorite buggy….I have the Sworkz truggy…I’m still building it, if it’s good I might try there buggy in the future.

@@stonejss727 but am pretty sure the pro kit is stronger than RTR for bashing .the rtr motor is too weak .I have a xrs8e rtr and I upgrade servo front shock 450 rear 300 front diff 7 7 3 .it's awesome but the motor really not strong enough to make jump like you did dude
