I've seen someone comment this. So basically artms are like angels/celestial beings. In the bible and generally with celestial beings. They are tp bright for us humans to see. Brighter than the sun. So ofc it would be uncomfortable. These girls are like a cult and they worship artms. It probably also ties in with fans being super obsessed as well with their Idols. So much to turning them into celestial beings. But moving on. The girls who worship artms can't see them with there eyes. Because they would be blinded. Hence why they take videos of them. Because that's the only way they can see them. Artms world and the girls world bleeds into one. The Girls don't realize what reality and what is fake. Hence the frame by frame shots. To show how the world's become one. I have to say if that's the truth they executed it well. When I first watched it i was like blind like i was wondering why I couldn't see the girls. And after watching it numerous times. My eyes have gotten used to it. And I can see the deeper parts to the MV.

The original name was "Eden" but they changed it so many references to Egoist (the laser eyes like hyeju in her mv o:) and Singing in the rain T-T and as you said, yyxy! The mv is beautiful ♥ At least modhaus should release a performance video or another version, the first time i was distracted by the editing but in the second time i enjoyed watching it! (But reading negative comments about i'm a little worried T-T) and the album... omg we finally get a full album and it's perfect 😭

(other than an obv need for a proper flash warning other than just captions) I think people are viewing this mv in the wrong way. if you watch it expecting a kpop music video, it doesn’t achieve what you would expect in a kpop mv. however, when you start to view their music videos as an art form rather than a typical kpop video made to get really popular, display choreo and visuals etc. it becomes clear how passionate the creatives behind artms really are. i love this mv so much it’s not made for anyone except the fans and it’s truly so unique and refreshing to see the possibility of charting or gaining a bunch of streams sacrificed for art. i feel as though both artms and other loona members prioritise artistry and fans over streams and chartingg! stan loona as always

on an artistic level I completely understand why they did it (bro I could write essays on that shit) but I still think it was a poor decision. the benefits of the creative choice didn't outweigh the practicality imo like they made their own work unwatchable for a lot of people (medically so for people with photosensitivity) who would otherwise want to engage with the artistic vision. you can say that was the intention but in the end it's a music video, it's meant to be watched.

The message could have gotten across without the whole changing the frame every second thing. The style of the MV is very much K-Pop, the only thing different is the editing. Marketing wise it is quite self-sabotaging the group 💀 like, you could have done it only one part, but the whole MV? It gets tiring and again, hard to watch. I don't think they thought this through.
