The lyrics remind me of the young little popular gurls who were in charge of Cake sales in my primary skuls. And were very determined and enthusiastic about selling cookies, desert etc... Lol young sales women "everything must go.". Please by all the dessert and give them all the money

Coming at you with a recommendation of a Nugu group you might like, the chorus is so catchy and they could do with being spread to a wider audience, please consider. FAINIT [KILLER] :)

the lyrics make me uncomfortable knowing one of the girls is 14. It’s worse knowing min hee jin’s past, but literally cookie is a double meaning. In society today and esp within the kpop industry, sexual innuendos are very common. “Made a cookie, come and take a lookie, only baked at my place?” Yeah euphemism sung by children 😬 edit: apparently now i’m a victim blamer and have a dirty mind for finding minors singing about their “cookie” weird. The girls see it as a fan song, because obv that’s what they’ve been told. They’re young and minors, plus without deep english understanding so they obvi don’t know the underlying context. This song was written in english so it’s obvious what it insinuates. I’m not blaming the girls, I blame MHJ and their weirdas management. Grown men listening to 14yr old girl sing about “look at my cookie, you can get it if you want it”. This is my opinion, but you can head to the replies to see how some people get all fuzzed about seeing a different perspective. edit 2: more fighting in the comments. once again, this is not a hate post. i do not hate the girls nor do i want women to not wear revealing clothes?? wtf lmfao, women are free to where whatever they like. yes they speak english, but we all know hybe is targeting the global market (mainly the US) so obvi teen girls from asia or australia aren’t going to know the underlying context of the song. there’s this thing called cultural differences. if you don’t find this uncomfortable, good for you- because as a woman i do. we all know full damn well that these minors are being sexualized in kpop and in the entertainment industries across the world. but yeah continue listening to little girls sing about their “cookie”. the people saying it’s about CDs, really 😐

@KN no i’m not blaming the girls obviously, they don’t know what they’re singing about because 1. they are korean and 2. they are minors. i’m uncomfortable that min hee jin, a grown woman is responsible for this concept and the fact that grown men can consume/profit off of these girls innocence. You can refuse to see it for what it is, but don’t try to flip it around to on me. I’m allowed to have my opinion if I think it makes me uncomfortable 🤷🏻♀️

@@firstlast4572 all of them can speak english and two members are fluent as they grew up in australia. it's very clear in the mv that cookie symbolizes cd 💿 (which essentially means their music) like how a bigass cookie was rolling in the beginning and at the end a CD rolls back. the symbolism/comparison paired with the lyrics actually makes sense, they tryna sell their cookie/cd(music) to viewers. makes more sense since it's a debut song. i understand tho that the lyrics can be seen as inappropriate when taken out of context or interpreted with a dirty mind... so can people just stop being weird and not take it out of context and see it as how they want it to be viewed. the girls literally provided the context because that's what they meant. the message they want to give through that song. tbh this issue is like yall saying people not to wear shorts or clothes that show skin cos there are people who find it tempting or see it as an open-invitation 🤢

Don’t listen to these stans. The lyrics definitely have a double meaning, that is because the songs and lyrics were written by ADULTS, adult producers and adult songwriters, they knew what they were doing. Y’all need to stop being purposely dense 🤷🏾♂️

Yes I’m literally 15 the same age as most of them and even I’m a little uncomfy listening to this song knowing the double meaning
