Ateez’s storyline is a bit difficult to explain since there are so many parts to it, more than them being pirates.. So when the Treasure series ended, Ateez’s main producer, Eden, mentioned that if Ateez’s universe was a movie, we would only be 15 minutes into the movie. Say My Name is a prequel to Treasure and Pirate King. There is a song called Precious on their 5th album (Treasure Epilogue: Action To Answer) that is connected to their debut song Treasure. The Fever series takes place before the Treasure series and tells the story of how they all came together. They released a 16 minute video called “Diary Film” right before they released Inception, this tells a bit of each member’s individual stories (they talk more about it in the Diary Ver of Fever Part 1 physical album) The ones dressed in black are another version of Ateez, we call them Halateez but their official name are The Black Pirates (this was confirmed in the physical copy of their album of Zero: Fever Part 2 Diary Ver., you can read a bit more of their purpose in that album. It was also on the newspaper that Wooyoung ripped up in their Kingdom performance of Rhythm Ta) The hourglass that you saw in their Kingdom stages is called The Cromer, it allows them to travel between dimensions (confimed also in their diary ver. of Fever Part 2 and in their variety show Fever Road) …and possibly time travel but we dont know much of that at the moment. The man in white are called Android Giants and are kinda like an army that are trying to get the Cromer which is why they show up at the end of the MVs as if they are following Ateez, they are being controlled by someone called Left Eye who runs the government in a place called Strictland (location of Fireworks MV in which the name of the Dystopia is written on the subway window in the MV. This info is also mentioned in the physical copy of the album Fever Part 2). I recommend watching the theory videos on Bookish Theories KZbin channel (they have a playlist) and also check out the color theory video, it talks about some things you may or may not have noticed from their MVs that should be very obvious Also, when watching their live performances, really pay attention to detail because they tend to spoil future comebacks in their performances Also, you did miss a few MVs, some follow the lore and others dont (some are also collabs): - Promise (performance mv) [filmed it for Atiny while on tour for fun] - Utopia (Japanese Ver) [original version of the song was is in the same album as Wave but the Japanese version was released after Wonderland and before Answer] - The Black Cat Nero [Cover of Turbo’s song after winning Immortal Songs the first time] - Time Of Love [Fever Part 2; just a cute MV they released also for Atiny when they finished filming their variety series Salary Lupin, which i highly recommend] - Celebrate [From Fever Part 2, it’s a special MV for Atiny, the song was originally released for 24hrs on Atiny’s anniversary months before the album dropped] - Summer Taste [Ateez X Monsta x X Brave Girls X Rain collab for Pepsi] - If Without You [Cute MV they filmed while in quarantine and also welcomed Mingi’s return and was released for Ateez’s 1000th day since debut] - 바다 보러 갈래 (Do You Wanna See The Sea? / Be My Lover) [Kim Jongkook X Ateez collab] - A Little Space [Ateez X Pentatonix collab]

Hongjoong and Mingi are always back to back rapping. MG in low tone and HJ in high tone. Seonghwa has a deep voice too. It's amazing that half of ateez have deep voices and half are high pitched. Also to answer your question about why songs keep coming out on the same day/close to it, they usually do a system where they have two possible title tracks, and then they have the fandom vote between which one they want. They had that for Wave/Illusion (which Wave won), for Inception/Thanxx (which Inception won), and now they are having that for their newest comeback, which is currently in voting process (Deja Vu vs Eternal Sunshine), they drop some song/performance previews for people to watch and vote! Also the Hala Hala might be familar to you because its the same warehouse where favOriTe was filmed! And at the end of the MV, the "lore" part, also contains a preview for the next song to come out, which usually only comes months later, so for example at the end of THANXX you can hear a bit of I'm the One! (And for their debut they did with two title tracks, even tho Pirate King was the one promoted of music shows).

Promise, Utopia, Time of Love (silly cute one), and Dreamers-- I also heavily recommend watching the Diary Film, which goes hand in hand with Inception!! it's got more of a little background to their storyline!! also, just as a fun storyline tidbit, ATEEZ are regular kids, Halateez aka The Black Pirates are them from an alternate universe where music, art, and dancing are banned, so Halateez are anarchists that rebel against the government. The men in white are actually androids created by that government to stop them. Thank you for the reactions. I hope that you don't feel pressured to choose a bias because honestly, it's hard. I feel that most Atiny have at least 2-3 biases and the rest of the members are wreckers. I've been a Hongjoong bias since pre-debut, but my second keeps changing. Lately, it's been San and I feel like he's going to stay that, but you never can tell with this group. I've never had so much trouble settling a bias in a group.
