An 18th century serpentine fronted, Chippendale period, mahogany chest of drawers of low proportions. This fine commode chest of drawers having cluster column ends and four long graduated cockbeaded drawers which are lined with oak and cedarwood. later brass handles, shaped bracket feet with concealed Lignum Vitae wheels. panelled back-boards. The whole retains an outstanding colour. English circa 1760 - 65. The dimensions of this well proportioned piece are as follows:
