Thank God Serral plays sometimes even being in the millitary. Its very Interesting to watch his games. Also its interesting to observe MaxPax games. Stats shows good games as well. Other people - are sucks

Wow - I had to see it to believe it. Even with a huge advantage and wonderul micro, Terran's late game power stills reigns supreme and required Serral to use all of his abilities in order to win, even at almost 2:1 resource advantage. Wow

Regarding Olivera vs Serral, is not due to Olivera being better in TvZ than other terrains, or Serral being more mortal. But is rather just Olivera being Serral ZvT partner. that he practice against. @PiG Casts

1:13:00 Cure's turtling helped prolong but also costed him game 5. Only if he could realize how good his defense was and had conviction to switch to offensive; Serral's army was thin and heavily outnumbered. That said though the window to capitalize was literally just like 1 minute. But you can't ask for more when playing against Serral.

Clems widomine control - I watched the replay back at .25 speed, He seems to have had the widomine selected with his entire on-screen-army, you can see the medivac, marines, and widowmine selected the entire time, and then the retarget happens. All I can think is that he is using a "unit cycle" button to rotate through to the widow mine and then retarget. Nothing else makes any sense to me.

oh yeah i guess if you target the marines and mines and everything it'll still effectively change the target of the mine, even if the new target almost instantly dies to the marines, at least you've reset the timer on it firing to avoid friendly fire

Other Casters: - Observe event A happening. - Discuss event A and its immediate future, as if the audience is blind or listening to a radio broadcast instead of watching a KZbin video. - Include an excessive number of poor jokes, often repeating the same joke every game (Lowko's "Brenda" joke). Pig Cast: - Spots the beginning of event A before it fully unfolds. - Accurately predicts the entirety of event A and its consequential events B, C, and D, along with potential branches of each scenario, as if he can read the players' minds. - Notices almost every interesting event or upcoming event in the game. - Provides nearly perfect analysis of every situation or scenario as the game progresses. - Makes good, mature, 3-digit IQ jokes and remains unbiased toward any player. That's why Pig remains the tier 0 with no second-best among Starcraft 2 casters and maybe the best game caster in general afaik. Sadly, the majority of the KZbin audience enjoys poor and cringy content.

Remember, losing 10% of the maps you play is significantly less series losses. In a best of 3 if you won 90% of your games you would lose 3% of your series. Maru and Serral really are insane.

You were wrong about the first game. Skillous had a 10 army lead, but only stakkers and zealots. Showtime had 2 more sentries, but he had 3 immortals and 2 archons.

This is largely because he was maxing on stalkers (2 supply, 175 resource cost) VS Zealots (2 supply, 100 resource cost). The zealots are far cheaper but lack the micro-ability and range of the stalkers. So as the stalker player you need to be aggressively blinking into the base and forcing fights where you can out-micro them. Kite them back across the map etc. Otherwise you need to transition to higher tier units. You can't max on stalkers and just sit back

There's a tournament called "World Team League" and it's just a bunch of 1v1s... I feel it's kinda disappointing that they're not even trying to make Starcraft 2 a team game. In Warcraft 3, FFAs, 2v2s and 4v4s are popular game modes and they're very fun, even if they're casual.

for us a deposit would only be part of the initial payment on buying something upfront, whereas a bond would be money you give over as insurance so you won't trash the property. Do Americans call both a deposit? If so cool I learnt a new thing
