Starcraft is such a fun sport to watch. The rise of Serral seemed to have inspired European Dominance, and the rise of that seem to have gotten the Koreans to up their game too. Serral, Clem, Raynor, Maxpax, Maru, Dark, Byun. It is so fun to see them face off each other.

haha, same here, the instant Medivac pickup is a bit too poweful imo. It should be at least slightly more delayed. However, wow, Byun really excelled in utilizing it in this game series!

Serral is not the same. Before he got a monstrous control of the map he was clean on everyting but now. Mistakes everywhere.

That was when helion run-by was so popular. But terran players figured out that going straight for marine + tanks/widow mines is more efficient and win games so easily.

@@jardy3597 he made mistakes in 2021 as well. But when you compare terran players this year (bunny, clem, maru, byun), they are so agressive like it's so hard to get up. Serral needs to work hard to get back after getting hit by a widow mine or getting viper-EMP'd. Also he was doing quick lair back then which enables him to make overseer very fast and scout terran's tech. you can't do that anymore because of 3 rax reaper and 2 base all ins. Even protoss deals so hard with 2 base marine-maurauder + medivac all in. It's not just serral.

His play has become a bit more chaotic. He used to get really upset at his mistakes, but this style probably helps his mental stress. Better for him slow down than to burn himself out and quit playing.

I have seen Dark dominate Terrans with ling/bane/corruptors. What happened to that? They disallow picking up units, tank widowmine shots and make it hard for the terran to focus-fire the banelings.

I found this series hard to watch as a zerg. Zerg need to figure a better way of dealing with this style of play. Blizz backed themselves into a corner with the queen as it is. If the bane reloaded itself like the widow mine there would be outrage. I'll stop crying now.

I feel like there needs to be something tweaked regardng the terran. The marine being allowed to shoot both air and ground units at the cost of 50 minerals is unique and just outright a joke. Its unique shooting mechanic ontop of that... oh my oh my The medivac cd on the boost should be way way longer and way shorter. Picking up units should go as slow as unloading Stim The game is very forgiving to Terran miscalculations. Too many unique mechanics that allow them to even get out of the most daring maneuvers. Not to mention they are by far the easiest to play micro-wise. Its not hard to spread a few ranged units and let them do their work, compared to microing every single unit ontop of different clusters of marines.

I think pro-gamers are way WAY too cautious with setting up base defences, like spores etc. Is it really that costly and bad, to put up three spores in that top base in the second (?) game, thus twarting most of not all drops there for the rest of the game? Its quick, and efficient, and one less worry. I dont get why they are so against it. instead, they spend a lot of APM and energy into protecting the same base over and over again, often loosing a lot of drones, queens and maybe the entire base...

Byun performs better on certain maps. I'm not criticising the man here. He's by far my favourite player to watch because he's exciting even when he loses, however Maru is more consistent yet still fun to watch because he always seems to be behind but trades so well he isn't really ever behind. I'm hoping Byun maintains his momentum because as I said before, it's so fun to watch him play.

Byun seems to have the best tank pushes more than the other top Terran players. Clem relies more on widow mines but lacking with tanks. Maru has good balance but tend to be more defensive than the other players.

As I've said a million times...widOP mines are the stupidest fucking unit in the game. Look, I understand that Terran players are spineless scrubs who need unfair advantages (i.e. orbitals, MARINES, spellcasters who can 1-shot and/or cancel all other spellcasters) but nothing should be THAT broken.
