I've watched countless tutorial videos on KZbin for a wide range of topics/skills, and I gotta say, man, your videos are some of the best around. There is no fluff, no boring generic intro and I love the video structure with showing the sound and an example at the start. I hate finding a video that appears related to the sound I want, only to have to randomly click around to find an example and learn it's not even close to what I was aiming for. Also, I really appreciate how sometimes you give examples or tips for what we could change or further configure to make the sound our own. That would be the one recommendation I have to keep doing with these tutorials. As a beginner, I find I may be able to follow along and recreate the sound while learning a thing or two, once the video is over, I'm still lost on where to continue expanding. Glad you posted some of your social links, I'll be sure to follow and listen to your work.

Dude, thanks for all the kind words! It makes me happy knowing I make an impact. I've been deciding on doing a breakdown on how I generally come up with these patches. Most of it just comes from having practiced on Serum a while and knowing what to expect from certain knobs from a broad understanding.

Your music is actually amazing and always sounds so clean and professional. It goes a long way in making your tutorials feel legit because I hate taking advice from people who don't actually know what they're doing.

Who would you say used this in their stuff first? First time I heard a similar bass to this was Bloccd by DMVU. Just curious as to who helped pioneer this amazing sound! Great tutorial as always man, really enjoying your videos!

Not sure! Sorry. :P This sound just came to be when messing around with a patch, but I'm sure people have used sounds exactly like it. Thanks for the kind words!

Hey man, how did you do that reverb part?
@HAKOBO4 жыл бұрын
I put on a super heavy reverb but make sure not to reverb the bass too much and then automate the mix of the reverb to come in at the end of phases.
