Servals have such fascinating behaviors. Their head movements, direct stare, along with the varying vocalizations are almost fox like. I can’t figure out what they are communicating with these particular behaviors.

Servals are relentless. When a kitten Serval makes an adult Savannah uncomfortable it’s pretty telling.

My Russian Blue was a big cat who dominated his yard. Judging by the shoes, he was almost twice as big as either of these cats. For 15 years, he defended his territory against dogs, cats and owls. He lost one of his canine teeth (aka fangs) in a big fight that he barely won. It took a ton of antibiotics and weeks to heal. He would never have tolerated any of this childish nonsense. In every sense, he was quiet, sturdy & powerful, a cat who simply wished to be left alone unless he needed a nap in a lap. If I ever decided to own another cat, it would be a male Russian Blue, the biggest one I could find.

Serval is a 4-5 months kitten here. The cat here is about 12Lb lean, he does not have much fat on him even if it may seem so on the video, his son that is same size as him is like 20LB because his owners use cat foot. Serval is 30LBs now very lean, could be 50LB if he was on a wrong diet

@@Amun_The_Serval The adult Serval is much bigger than my Russian Blue. I named him "Peter the Great Russian Blue". But I just called him Peter. He was a quiet and intelligent cat. Peter was a big, strong and muscular cat most of his life and weighed 14-15 pounds most of his life. Towards the end, when he was about 12-15 years old, he slowed down and put on some weight, about 18 pounds when he died (heart failure). He was okay with other cats, such as my mother's and sister's cats, or calm dogs, or any female cat or kitten. But he would not tolerate another male cat whatsoever, except my mother's, but just barely, whose cat was skittish and hid himself all day long anyway. Out of sight. Out of mind. Just the way Peter liked it. Anyway, your cats are beautiful. However envious I may be, I don't think I could handle a super-sized cat.

@@wbwilhite My friend also had Russian Blue, he lived like 20 years, he was a smart cat. Having a serval is probably more like having a dog.

@@iwuanadie1058 my guy, it's a cat. They become visibly uncomfortable around any unknown cat/kitten, dog/puppy, human/toddler etc. in their domain. Are you suggesting they kept them seperated until the Serval was old and strong enough to kill the cat in one bite? Or would you prefer if they didn't get a 2nd pet at all, so that you could complain about the cat being lonely and in need of a friend, instead?

This is so dangerous to the cat. You're putting it in direct harm by letting it be in contact and fight a wild animal, who should not live with humans. Irresponsible and cruel behavior
