It’s about keeping servant leadership in perspective with the organization bottomline goals in mind. With automation and tools keeping a servant leadership mindset while leveraging should not impact time negatively.

A servant leader draws credit to their team, and away from themselves. The cause always wins.

The Ebbs and flows of various thought process surrounding leadership. It’s good, the new information breeds more discussions and the act itself helps to create recognition of needs and growth. I’ve never been a big fan of the jingo’s… but I’ve created some along the way too. It’s easy to be too cool for “school”… no fun and you learn little. Public schools are good and need us all (side note). Helping others while also recognizing you need help as well… self awareness, empathy and getting stuff done. The various contexts around leadership breed many sector specific “currencies”, but there’s a lot of overlap… it’s easy to get annoyed at times, it happens to me as well. But, it is in those moments where you can shift a moment or tide which seemed like it was rolling into fear based action and reaction. We really can make a lot of things better. It’s real… imperfect and beautiful.

After Bob Nardelli all but destroyed Home Depot, Frank Blake came through with Servant Leadership. We were absorbed in it. Now that I prefer not to ba a manager, it is difficult to work with unskilled management. Very frustrating. I loved servant leadership.

I completely agree, and that's why I prefer the Six Leadership styles by Goleman instead. They are built for using a mixed approach.

The content is rich and super informative! The drawback is the dullness of the voice-over. The voice-over lacks the excitement of servant leadership. I need to have something that is more relatable for a high school teen population.

I think transformation leadership best suits for corporates

Hello Amit and thanks for your comment. I agree that transformational leadership is a great leadership style and that it often fits for corporate environments. However, it is kind of intended for change, development, i.e. transformation. If you find yourself in a situation with little change, transformational leadership might be a bit difficult to use. I always suggest using the framework based on Emotional Intelligence, it is much more flexible and versatile, meaning you can easier find a good fit to pretty much any situation you end up in. In my experience, this is the best leadership style framework there is. Feel free to watch our video about it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHytmGSZfMZ9l6c

His style was taught by Hillel 100 years before in Palestine, and 500 years before by the Buddha. Jesus didn't invent humility or sacrifice.

Others before Jesus may have taught humility and sacrifice but none of those you mentioned did the ultimate sacrifice of dying for humankind. Moreover, it is a sacrifice made by the Son of God who lowered Himself down to servanthood to be mocked, humiliated, scourged, and nailed on the cross. Philippians 2:5-8 says, "Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross." Jesus Christ not only taught humility and sacrifice but He demonstrated every word and teaching to the point of sacrificing His life for others.
