David literally WRESTLES WOLVES AND BEARS in his teens. Also, Beowulf is outright absurb, because his NP, Grendel Buster, is his servant form bringing back his strength when he was HUMAN and during the time he fucked up Grendel and the Dragon. Dude's probably the strongest human who doesn't have a lick of divinity or divine help, curses or demonic blood, and any supernatural weaponry outside of Hrunting, which he actually discarded. He's a pure human as any can be and a fucking beast.

Well no actually. All those low rarity bronze or even silver rarity Servants were objectively some of the best units in the game. Hell, fucking some ended up being better then a higher rarity counter parts. Leonidas and Saint George were the best tanks and Mashu joined in that once London hit. D'eon? D'eon is rather fucking trash as a tank do to her heal being the same fucking skill as the taunt and his evade only giving like 16% defense after cast with a shit NP that needed to be buff JUST to be 3 turns. Hell, to this day Saint George ain't never got a buff. That's not even getting into the fact the fucker has one of the best Bond CE's in game. Spartacus? Was the only Beserker with a charge for the longest time and could be used for farming. David and Cesear? Some of the best units in game just out the gate. 1 hit evade for the party, a defense skill that at lvl 1 just grants 50% defense and good damage for David with a Caster deck that makes him actually pretty good of a unit with Merlin and such and Ceaser is hitting stupid numbers and easy to use. Cu? Cu fucking saved a lot of people just because he's a 3* and cementing himself as a true bro with a busted ass kit that just having Protection From Arrows on his other variants and anyone else with a similar skill makes you busted out the gate. It's actually the 4* units that got fucked over then ANY of the low rarity ones actually.

Lancer Cu really should've been a five star. Dude's fighting the an entire army made of all of medb's f*ckboys, that's like three whole kingdom worth of people, fight them 1v1 for several days straight. Dude's so strong his enemies have to resort to cheap tactics like killing his son in front of him and made him eat dog meat so his curse awaken just to weaken him. And after all that, he died of blood lost and exhaustion, they cant even kill him till the end, his body needs to do it for them. AND EVEN AFTER THAT, he still managed to stall the army by chaining himself to a rock so he can keep standing even if he died, and it works.

David being a three star really surprised me when I started playing FGO. He doesn't have an obscurity problem because almost everybody in the world knows who David is. The guy died of old age meaning nobody was able to kill him, not to mention the assistance he got from God on multiple occasions as well as his many accomplishments. He is the most famous king of Israel on par with Solomon. Fame gives power to servants so he should be a five star in my opinion.

1. Robin hood You shouldn't forget about Robin Hood. He always been depicted as the greatest archer of all time at the point where all of us has known him since our childhood no matter where we came from (I myself from Indonesia and I have known him since 4 yo or so). He is known for his unmatched accuracy when it's come to using bow and arrow. If we taken all of these facts and logics, he's might be more than enough to be a grand servant. I mean, since his popularity and his skills met the requirement of grand level, he should be the one or at the very least a candidate. The ones that clued me in was Julius Ceasar and Blackbeard. Both extremely well known legends. In the case of Blackbeard, he had so many legends around him. A person born of the devil, someone who's presence struck fear into the hearts of all who saw him, and singlehandedly terrorized the ocean. And let's not forget his alleged death. Despite being covered in gashes and bullet holes, he continued to battle until he ran out of ammo, at which point he collapsed, only dying after he was beheaded. AND STILL, allegedly his headless body continued to swim around the ship thrice before finally sinking. This man is the definition of 'Pirate', and has legends for days. This should make him powerful within FATE, right? Nope! 2 Star. Meanwhile Francis Drake gets to be a 5 star. Similiar situation with Julius Ceasar. While Nero is undoubtedly more diabolical and 'evil', Julius accomplished far greater feats, and is better known. Yet Julius is a 2 star, and Nero is a 4 star Waifu. I just don't get it. For added disrespect they made Julius Fat and Teech a wimpy Otaku. Like Teech doesn't even get his Beard! His most recognizable and defining feature, the large beard with flaming wicks, does not exist. I'm fine with making Blackbeard somewhat of a Otaku and a dork, but at least let him keep his large frame and majestic beard! And buff him from a 2 star. It's disrespectful. Others I have less issue with is Roland, the wielder of Durandal and being often compared to Arthur, alongside the other Knights to the Round Table, is a 4 star instead of 5 (Note Charlemagne himself is a 5 star). And they have yet to include Olivier. Surprisingly, no issues with Astafolo being a cross-dressing twink. It somehow fits him. Robin Hood, famous fairy tail and well known for being a archer who always hits his shots, is a 3 star. No Der Freischütz, who is another famous Marksman of Legend. For some Reason Nikola Tesla is a 5 star Archer, when he fits the caster class so much better with his theoretical teleportation and death rays. Thomas Edison, his 'rival' is one, so why not him? Heracles should not be a 4 star concidering his feats and legend. Even in Fate, he's immune to any skill or attack that isn't A rank or higher AND gives him 11 extra lives. Meaning he has to be killed 12 times to actually stay dead. A Literal God tier skill, and 'One of the Strongest Heroic Spirits' (their words not mine) and he's a 4 star. Make him a 5 star, at least. I'd have greater complaints but I learnt of Archer Heracles/Alcides and how this unrestrained version overpowered Gil with little contest. If he gets introduced to FGO as 5/6 star I'd be satisfied.

Been readin the comments, and, I think people are forgetting about Arash. Many people look at him as a minor servent but he in fact was the original archer in fate/prototype. It was stated that he is on par with tristam in skill with the bow, can shot dozens of arrows that can destroy large rocks, one of his skills that is on par with a noble phantom, he is capable to shot a barrage of 10 000 arrows to cover de sky with minimal preparation thanks to his "bow and arrow creation" skill, this technique is powerfull enough to kill most if not all civilians in night-time Akihabara, and the nolbe phantom stella which overpowered a full blow from Rhongomyniad and is said by tawara touta a fellow archer servent that, "few may have shot down the stars, but none have the divine skill to obliterate them", the only other servent i know of to shot down stars is LB5 grand servent orion and thats a very unique orion. On top of all this HE has Clairvoyance and from the entires cast of fate prototype he and king arthur are the only ones that Ozymandias ever recognised as foes, and on certain ocasions through out FGO Ozymandias ignores many names from many characters but his atention is shifted everytime that arash is named. If all this aint worth a slot for 5 star idk what it is.

Well the main reason why is because of how his NP works no one is saying it since man it be pretty shit to have a 5* unit just kill himself since they aren't going to give him guts and the only guts CE with charge in game is one with split stats and from Nerofest 2 that is only 20% MLB. Like, OBJECTIVELY he should be a 5* but him being so useful is because he is an easy to obtain 1* unit that deals damage WELL above his weight class. Honestly the most they would give him in a 5* form would make his normal card damage better instead of buffing his NP damage. Probably give him a skill that lets him always deal crit damage even without crit stars and buff his crit damage along with further buffing it by letting his crits be buffed if his crit cards gained stars in them as well. Or Hell, just let him deal AoE damage on normal attacks since his Bow and Arrow Creation skill let him do that in lore like you said.

The rarity of the servants is something we can't scape in a gacha game. We can just say that bronze and silver servants are easy to summon because they want to help us asap compared to SSRs who need tons of SQ to summon because saving humanity is not that important to them apparently. Sadly we get cool characters that in their myths are OP stuck in silver or bronze. And even worse, despite their achievements, they don't get to shine in Fate anime or in FGO. If we were to take their OG legends and stories, many of FGO's servants would be SR or SSR and others would be downgraded to silver or bronze. I mean, we have Galatea that in her legend she's just a statue that came to life, but in FGO she's a mech and also SSR. I wish more servants had that same treatment. Like with Galatea or Artoria, having their legends reimagined and buffed.

well because rarity of the servants its not a thing in the story, the story constantly puts bronze servants at the same level of 5 stars without much problem just look at leonidas and ushi facing gorgon someone clearly above merlin and medusa who were 5 and 4 stars, or arash having his skills called equal to tristan a 4 star servant, or also tristan even with a gift being defeated by 2 3 star servants and 1 1star servant, or bedivere a 3 star servant(not even a servant a human) facing gawain a 4 star, even 5 have huge gaps between each other i mean ishtar couldnt do a thing against quetzalcoatl even with the help of medusa merlin mash and jaguar man, true this because nothing good can hurt quetzalcoatl, i mean tamamo only has around of a third of her power when she recovers her third tail and she is already on the high end of the 5 stars

The disrespect shown to Irish Servants man. How they have Cú be some low star scrub when he got hammered with curses, kingdoms full of simps, his son dies, killed the best warriors of the opposing army so fast that the army (which could only move forward while Cú is fighting because they all agreed he would fuck em up otherwise) had to literally inch their way forward etc etc and even after all that being set up against him, they still didn’t kill him themselves. He impaled himself on his own spear to continue bullying them like nerds in a 90s movie cuz he couldn’t stand anymore and proceeded to die from the wounds he gave himself after a whole day. And then we got Diarmuid so low when they got him = Artoria in cqc and his lore makes him the demigod son of the Gaelic god of the dead, has him kill two armies of 800 guys and two of 900 guys in an afternoon (imagine killing 3,400 guys in a day and it’s just another Tuesday), was able to run away from and outmanoeuvre the Red Branch Knights (basically the Irish Round Table) for an extended period of time while taking care of a Princess who he couldn’t even ditch because of a Geis. And this guy was only on old Fionn’s level. Y’all gotta realise that Fionn killed Balor of the Evil Eye, the same giant who in myth could burn all of Ireland to the ground just by uncovering said evil eye. Note that this is most commonly said to be done by Lugh but as with all stories, it gets mixed up over time and in a few is attributed to Fionn due to him slaying the fire breathing god Áillen. My personal guess why this happens is because both Lugh and Áillen belong to the Túatha Dé Danann and Lugh is Balor’s grandson so it got mixed up. Worst case scenario, Fionn murders gods like a chad. It’s even worse in Nasu lore when you remember that Mystic Eyes of Death Perception come from Balor’s eye that lets him kill people by looking at them which means Fionn is so built different he basically killed a way stronger Shiki (physically that is) that can kill you just by seeing your lines and points of death. Even without stuff like that, Fionn spent his time being the biggest brained mofo in Ireland and killing giants that yeets islands around like skipping stones. Shit, the man was supposedly a giant himself to the point that there are two sites in Ireland (Cavan and West Cork) where there are standing stones that people say are Fionn’s fingers. Only been to the ones in West Cork but those are 4-5 meters tall. That shit makes Fionn around 100m tall if they actually are his fingers. Fergus ain’t as epic as Cú and Fionn above but when you think about all the beam swords Nasu hands out like candy to his Sabers when they don’t actually deserve them (closest is Excalibur blinding people with its light) and realise you got Caladbolg which actually fired a rainbow beam that, when Fergus couldn’t even use it against another king, cuts through three hills anyway as a nerfed version. A poem even traces the sword from Saturn (Kronos). And then we have Scathach who would get murdered by normal Cú but she gets wanked to the point of calling Karna tiers trash … tf??? And these are just the Irish goats. Fate really doing so many mythologies dirty, especially the Indians, while so many others get wanked to high heaven.

Diarmuid is a 4 star. And lancer is not Cu's strongest class. Cu's strongest class is beserker for obvious reasons and even his alter is afraid of that version of Cu. I have no excuse for Fionn. Fionn was like the Irish Arthur and deserved to be done better.

His 3 star Lancer version gave Saber the business and was bout to mess her up if the entire cast didn’t post up. Fsn, Prototype and Caster all get hit with 3 star but Sétanta is 4 and Calter is 5 when the latter’s claim to fame is being Scáthach level (I’m ignoring her treating Karna and Rama like trash cuz it’s heresy) who should be sub Lancer Cú. And Sétanta is just baby Cú 😭 Not following irl lore is one thing but the stars don’t even correspond with internal fate lore. At least we agree Fionn was done dirty. Like the big downside to the star rating system is how most of the low star Servants get shafted from their respective star rating! But we can all agree that because of that it makes it easier to get the ones we like, unlike the 5* Servants who are a pain in the ass to get, unless you have great luck of the pull or are a whale just DUMPING LOADS OF CASH at the roulette to give you want you want. I’m happy that Cù was my first Bond lvl 10 in game, EMIYA Archer being second. Now working on Mordred (bond lvl 7), and also Angra, and Izo and Salieri who are all bond lvl 6.

That's unfortunately the truth with the rarity nonsense and heavy bias in this game. Year 6 for NA is unfortunately gonna be breaking the bar for a lot of people. Whether it's for the banners or the fact the only 4 new males are Shirou Muramasa, Percival, Oberon and Taigong and the rest are ladies. I know JP hit their boiling point with the GudaGuda 6 controversy of some of the NPCs being the main lead and still being trapped in that jail.

From the title alone, I'm expecting Roland in here. Roland or we riot. There was no Roland. Riot time? But seriously, Roland was completely invincible except for the soles of his feet and so strong that he could cleave through a mountain while he was in the middle of bleeding to death (the real life rock formation Roland's Breach is named after that event, though it's a natural gap in reality). He could easily and consistently cut down five men in a single swing of his indestructible holy sword without breaking a sweat. He was an absolute top tier knight when the top tier knights could solo armies. He devised a plan to beach a sea monster by swimming into its mouth with a _ship anchor_ and dragging it like a fishing line as he swam to shore and the only reason it didn't work is because _he wound up killing it by hooking it with the anchor before he could actually carry out the plan._ The man was already as strong as most Servants while he was _alive._ He's also the most famous of the Twelve Peers of Charlemagne as well as being the nephew of Charlie (a 5 Star) and the cousin of Astolfo (4 Star and 5 Star) and Bradamante (5 Star). But what did we get? 4 Stars is disappointing, but he's also a one-note gag character based on the event that qualifies him for Berserker even though he's summoned as a Saber.

He's a more lighthearted character where the joke is that you'd have to be halfway insane to be a true hero and that the true hero isn't one of the incredible super-knights he pals around with. In other Fate works he's a bit flanderized, though, yes. Roland, on the other hand, is pretty much halfway between what he should be as Saber and what he should be as Berserker. He _almost_ fits the way he is early on in Orlando Furioso, obsessive but still a true knight who is still willing and able to go out of his way to do right, but they flanderized the one joke way too far. As a Saber (his best suited Class) he should be as he is in The Song of Roland, an invincible, hyper-strong warrior who is undone by his own well-intended hopes that someone close to him hasn't become a traitor and his unwillingness to accept that unfortunate fact. Roland should be a Grand Saber candidate. As a Berserker he should be a mindless, naked, emaciated caveman swinging around an entire tree as a weapon, which is the state Astolfo and co. find him in when they have retrieved his reason from the moon and need to give it back to him to solve the titular crisis of Orlando Furioso.

It is the hard part of a series like FGO. All of these people are Legendary figures, known throughout time and respected in many ways. So in a sense, they all deserve max star rankings for being incredible enough that what they did is remembered forever. Unfortunately, they didn't really think things ahead and at the start of the games life, had to have someone be lower stars. Really, they should have just had regular modern badasses as 4 and below, impressive people, sure, but not legend rank just yet. Though I don't play Fate so I can only say so much. On that note, I'd actually like to know, do they even release anything below a 5* anymore?

Yup, they still do release lower rarity Servants. Just last year, they released Xu Fu (3*), Zhang Jiao (3*), and Mary Anning (1*). And the year before that was Nobukatsu(1*). Also, 4* welfare Servants are still a thing. See, the problem with your first point is that there exists some modern Servants who could at least stand toe to toe with those from the Age of Gods (Edison, Tesla, Da Vinci, Nobunaga, Li Shuwen, Sherlock, etc.) Such examples being that time when Francis Drake beat Poseidon in Okeanos (and again in the Lost belts) thanks to her Pioneer of the Stars skill, or that time in America when Tesla and Edison worked together to restrain an entire legion of Demon God Pillars. Also Berserker Jack the Ripper from Fate Strange/Fake is *busted* for reasons I can't say due to spoilers. A Servant's presence in history isn't a guaranteed indicator of their overall strength, especially when you consider certain factors such as their legacy as well as their impact on humanity as a whole.

Speaking from lore is hard for Gacha game rarity because of how bonkers they are they should all be ★5, and rarity in FGO kinda not affected the effectiveness of Servants that much. As we can see a lot of low stars can be even stronger than higher stars, just look at Cu, if he has ★5 stats that'd be broken. But still, these rarity can get weird sometimes. Shakespeare and Hans are among the most famous writers in the world and they are ★2 by the logic of "They're just writers they don't fight" which could be fair at first comparing them to awesome Heroes, but then Murasaki and Sei showed up as limited ★5, what's the logic here again?

My contribution to this list is archer Arjuna. Yes, pashupata is pretty damn powerful in fate, but compared to what it does in the actual myth it's been nerfed to hell (even Nobunaga San talks about this in one of the interviews). It is a literal apocalypse device, meant to wipe the world clean so it can be created from a blank slate again. But on top of all that, Arjuna had access to over 20 other incredibly powerful astras that he earned from other gods, which had abilities like dropping a literal mountain on someone, creating a massive vacuum, bringing down a rain of godkilling lightning, nullifying all magic, and one that literally destroyed the evil out of evil beings (don't know how that works, but sounds insane lmao). Think gate of Babylon, but it's quality over quantity, where instead of having thousands of divine construct he has a fewer, more powerful ones. I always thought archer was supposed to be the class known for having a variety of tools and found it to be a lost chance that archer arjuna didn't get any of this. But I hold out hope that maybe one day rider Arjuna will show up with all of this.

A theory I've always had is that the star ratings aren't based on their power and ability, but how difficult they are to summon. Stars are a rank of rarity, not power (though the game mechanics equate it as much). The summoning system is very tricky between the lines. If a Mage wants to summon a specific servant off the system, they'd need basically the perfect catalyst, an item closely associated with the servant. A servant like Jack the Ripper is basically impossible since their identity is entirely unknown. The mage society got a fossil of the oldest known snake fossil, which was basically the second best possible catalyst for Gilgamesh save for the actual key to his treasury and they still acknowledged it was a dice toss. After the catalyst is taken into account though, a compatibility factor takes place. If there is room for possibilities, the system will take into account the summoner's personality and character and summon the most suitable servant for them, which is a safety feature more than anything. Medea's original master used a catalyst to summon specifically her with the expectation that they are a powerful mage from the age of gods but they were too incompatible and she stabbed him to death and burned his home down. Meanwhile, with a peace of the Round Table, that was was the best general catalyst available to summon any Camelot servant, but due to the nature of the table, it was impossible to tell who actually sat closest to where the fragment was. This is where the compatibility factor takes place. Thing about Mordred is that since they betrayed and left the knights, they're actually the least likely servant you can obtain using the round table and there just aren't a lot of usable catalysts since the weapons and armor have long since been lost to time. However, the mage in this case is a necromancer mercenary mage for hire who does whatever it takes to get the job done regardless of how it looks and really wants a kid but is incapable of doing so. Stars aligned, he gets the only knight of the round table that's extremely rough, nonchivalrous, and has a daddy-complex for the ages. He said so himself that any other knight of camelot he probably wouldn't get along with. In the same series, clearly stronger servants like Siegfried got taken out a lot earlier simply due to the master and servant not working well together at all. Meanwhile, servants like Cu Cullain, can get along swimmingly with just about anybody whether it's a deranged priest or a moon tsundere. Therefore, a number of servants can simply be extremely difficult to summon when all these factors are taken to account. The large majority of five stars are figures of legend or fiction, therefore there aren't many usable catalysts. There are also difficult spiritual compatibilities that the grail takes to account when applying a compatibility factor. Then there are servants that simply shouldn't be there due to the rules of the grail, but circumstances allowed for the possibility here. Servants like Scathach, Merlin, etc would normally be impossible to summon, because they never died. A number of servants that really should be higher in power like Blackbeard are relegated to Bronze simply because they have actual historical evidence and are objectively easier to summon.

When I see people do versus battles for fate its always who's has the better noble phantasm. Which I have a hard a hard time believing in a 1v1 scenario your opponent going to be dumb enough and let you charge up your noble phantasm. Now there's clearly cases where a servent is just on a whole completely different level than others like gil vs jack the rippler. But when it comes to gil vs karna people say gil wins because he has the stronger noble phantasm that's all I hear. Also in fate zero or any fate franchise saber is supposed to be the strongest servant and have the strongest stats but we see them losing to Lancers,assassin's,riders in 1v1. Saber under Shirou struggled to take one life from Herc. Saber under a proper master was said to be able to one shot Herc. With Assasin vs Saber not only is she way weaker because of Sheroo but Assasin is the best or second best swordsman in the verse. Meanwhile Saber is average or below for servants. Also all statements about Sabers being the strongest are by mages. It's a common misbelief by them not canon fact. There are plenty busted lancers. Enkidu and Karna some of the most busted servants ever. Ozy is a busted rider as is Medusa with a proper master. Only class imo underpowered is Assasin. Stars in the game are PURELY for gameplay 100%. They're not meant to be taken in any way as representative to their capabilities in lore. Waver is a 5* but Siegfried doesn't even bother with him. Santa Quetzalcoatl is still Quetzalcoatl meaning she stomps most. Only case in which rarity could be considered an indicator is Angry Mango, the weakest servant ever. Fate versus is hard anyway considering how much their personalities affect them, servant containers being shitty in general and with how some people are busted when not servants. Real Artoria is way stronger meanwhile Jack probably wouldn't even be a thing without a container. Live Gil was busted but live Spisthtar was a living galaxy.

Pharaoh Tutankhamun (King Tut). Probably Caster or Rider. He'd normally be a crippled teenager, as he was in life, but his Noble Phantasm would be transforming into a giant sphinx. In real life, his sandals, cane, and footrest were decorated with the traditional enemies of Egypt so that wherever he went he would be stepping on them, and there's artwork found depicting him as a sphinx crushing them under his feet which is likely in reference to this. Maybe also a Skill that lets him curse people who wrong him, since the discovery of his tomb is what started the "mummy's curse" trope. Hammurabi would be cool, I've thought about that one before. Either Caster or Ruler.

It is a bit of a shame that it's very likely we won't be getting Samson "The man of the Sun". Even his CCC version is nothing compared to what he was capable of during his lifetime but the worst thing is that in Fate lore we are told about his true power but then they simply ignore it. I had high hopes that we would be shown his true strength in Babylonia, but in the end we saw the most nerfed gilgamesh who died of fucking fatigue

i am fairly convinced that the only lore explanation that could fit star ratings is that it depends on how willing a servant is to help out saving humanity, the lower the rating the more happy they are to help as for how well they perform in gameplay, that really doesn't say anything about their actual strength, i think the manga adaptations do a decent job at portraying servant strength decently tho, for example Rama in the turas realta manga absolutely shreds stuff even when still cursed and in the Shimousa manga we see Leonidas make Tomoe shit her pants

Cases like Leonidas and Medea, the only logic for them being 3 stars is so the F2P players have some godly servants to use, as Medea regularly makes the recommended section for DPS ST Castor, and The Camelot boss fight against Tristan cemented Leonidas as a better servant than most 4-5 stars.

Truly there's no excuse for cases such as Leonidas' and Saint Georgius', but for some of the others im glad they are below 5 star cuz of they didn't i wouldn't have them

And if those two weren't low rarity Servants they would actually be worse for the purpose of what they can be used for, you wouldn't get some easy help from them being low rarity units and people also wouldn't have them either. Leonidas wouldn't be able to take advantage of his high as fuck NP gain cause of Pride of the Rearguard as most would only have him NP 1 at say 4 or 5* rarity so no chance to self overcharge and get better defense up amount. Saint George would be an absolute tank but deal no damage what so ever since he has no damage up skills. He doesn't even get his damage bonus against dragons which he can turn anything into since lorewise those were actually two completely different NP's he has. Leonidas would also not be as strong since his big ass star bomb on NP is tied to NP lvl so at base you would get maybe 10 stars instead of the 30 he gets now. Saint George would do better yeah but you would really need to give him support and he only can really do damage now do to Command Codes that let him deal more damage to dragon enemies but that is a consequence of flavor and they probably wouldn't have given those Codes out so regularly if he was actually a higher rarity unit that could just deal more damage to anything in game by just using his NP.

there are many servants i wanna mention but rn,the servant i think was done really wrong is Hector.Ever since i started playing Fgo,i still cant get over the fact that he was a 3 star servant in game.A man who went toe to toe against an immortal,and other powerful adversaries too like ajax. he deserves an avenger form too bcuz he was humiliated in his death,rmbr how achilles tied his body in his chariot and dragged him around for 3 days

Eh … Hector got ran through by Achilles in Fate lore and ran away every time until Achilles came up with a way to ditch his divine gifts (so literally all of his gear and immortality) and still beat Hector anyway. No matter how you cut it, he just ain’t on Achilles level. The Iliad also tells us how Achilles is the undisputed goat of the Trojan war at every opportunity it gets with Hector once again running away every time.

If we are talking about servants whose rarity is low compared to their fame and abilities then Arash would be on the top of the list for me. Aside from his legend, his skills are top notch with even Chiron considering his archery superior to his in Apocrypha and he held his own against powerful opponents in Fate/Prototype as well as Camelot. Then there is Benkei and Ushiwakamaru who deserve to be 5* due to not just their feats but also fame. Benkei literally died while standing up while he was struck by arrows. There's also Tomoe Gozen who's like the most famous female samurai from Japan. She really got robbed in her Archer parameters with only having C in STR even though she possesses immense strength to the point she can take the heads of enemy generals with her bare hands. Not to mention no riding skill for Archer even though that is one of her most noteworthy skills in the Tale of Heike. There's also Jeanne who 's a 5* but lacks many of her abilities like Saint and Charisma that is boosted to EX equivalent by the latter and is effective to the point that she can make others do her bidding by simply telling them. Not to mention she too doesn't have her riding skill like Tomoe despite talking about her horse in Apocrypha. Even more criminal is how her skillset sucks so much while Amakusa gets so much love in FGO compared to her. And then there is EMIYA who is underutilized by Fate. Projection alone gives him insane tactical options to deal with far greater threats, which is amplified by his skill and iron will. I really wish Fate would have well structured smart fights like Jojo's Bizzare Adventure where all combatants use their abilities to their fullest while taking advantage of the situation they are in as much as possible. Instead we get mostly beam struggles and fights taking a backseat for the plot (its the worst in Apocrypha where the main plot isn't even good to begin with).

Spartacus even though his exploits were great, it was mostly due to his natural charisma leading an army, rather than skill. I remember in my history class my professor used him as an example for people who have innately high charisma (when he was alive) can pretty much indirectly manipulate people's opinions. Killers like Ted Bundy also have innately high charisma which pretty much allowed him to gain trust of women. He didnt have leadership commanding armies, its just that he was darn charismatic. They were right, looks do go a long way even if you are unskilled. Spartacus was just a cog in a machine which stopped at a opportune moment which made him popular. There are countless people who made an attempt to rebel, but wh hardly know majority of them. He was just a normal human being who became famous out of sheer luck and charisma. I dont hate him, i like in the game. Its just that for me, his 1 star is well deserved

Hector, he got plugged with random assed skills. In the myth he gave Achilles a hard time and even went one on one duel. He was Hector with the Gleaming Helmet but non of his kit even relatea to his myth except tactics skill. Hell even his tactics skill should be EX, you can read in his in game profile that he's a great tactitian and politician that even the gods couldn't guess his next moves!

I actually don't mind that. While lore wise, BB should be higher, I loved being able to get her with welfare. Being able to Np5 one of my fave Fate characters without spending a dime was pretty nice. Besides, her Summer variant is five stars so it all balances out.
