Ooh, I remember playing a world team tennis doubles match once and I hit the most amazing unintentional shot in my life. Someone hit a hard volley at me while I was at the baseline on the ad side. I could only swipe a windshield washer forehand in front of my face and I somehow hit the ball on the leading front edge of my racquet, the ball rolled across the strings and hit the trailing edge of my racquet, and the ball curved completely around the net post maybe 3-4 feet and landed in behind the other net front player for the ultimate banana shot. Greatest shot of my life. My opponents claimed the point because of a double hit (it was actually a triple hit). But I knew from the rules of tennis that those sort of hits are legal as long as 1) it was unintentional and 2) it was one continuous motion (both true in this case). We argued for a solid couple minutes and I finally just gave up and we agreed to replay the point. But I was right, dammit! ;)

More Kim! Less Wertheim! btw: Is that a real Jackson Pollock over Kim’s sofa?

@@lllll99999-f Artwork by a master displayed in someone's home has such a greater impact than when hung in a museum. I once had the fortune to be invited into someone's home to look at their art collection. On the living room walls were minor works by the great Impressionist painters. They glowed like objects from another world. btw: The sofa looks like it is from ... Cappellini?

Hello Andy Roddick, We all know you are one of the nicest persons! But as we are living in the Internet Era (Year 2000 - 2020), being monolingual (you only know English) is a big handicap. Please learn more Languages, otherwise English is not enough to express all emotions! Check the smart lady Kim Cjisters, she is naturally multilingual (she knows Nederland, Francais, may be some German) and thus she is able to thrive in the Internet Era (Year 2000 - 2020).
