These are valiant missionaries whose health challenges & exceptional circumstances did not stop nor deter them in any way, shape and form from serving the Lord and their fellow human beings wherever they may called and assigned to.

My son is currently serving as a local service missionary. He loves it so much. What a blessing he is to our family and our community. I'm so grateful that everyone has an opportunity to serve if they desire, no matter their difficulties or abilities. My son has autism and wanted to serve a mission his whole life. This has been an answer to many prayers.

When people give talks about facing a dilemma between tithing and paying for groceries, I kinda facepalmed because this is why we have bishop storehouses. And I am bery grateful for the Bishop's Storehouse to exist because of emphasizing feeding people who lost jobs or houses, are in poverty or suffer a disability. Serving in the storehouse has taught me to gradually connect with people even though I have shortcomings.

Grazie per le tue dolci parole. Sono stato missionario a L'Aquila più di trent'anni fa e mi ricordo di Bruno ed Olimpia. Non si erano ancora sposati, ma non mi sorprende che alla fine si siano sposati. La città era aperta all'lavoro missionario da soli cinque mesi e Bruno ed Olimpia erano due dei primi membri battezzati. Abbiamo fatto le nostre riunioni domenicali nel nostro appartamento missionario. C'erano solo quattro membri e ricordo quando il mio collega annunciava che avrei fatto un discorso alla riunione sacramentale (ero proprio nuovo missionario), che Olimpia boccheggiava e ad alta voce diceva "Non Anziano Larsen, ci vuole un'eternità!" Sono felice di vedere che Bruno ed Olimpia hanno una bella famiglia e che stanno bene. È stato meraviglioso vederli in questo video. Mio figlio ha svolto anche una missione di servizio e l'ha adorata e sembra che all'Anziano Diodato si senta allo stesso modo.
