Good initiative by ghmc.. but main congestion is due to vehicles changing lanes before the hitech city fly over entrance and after getting down the flyover the left turn and parked vehicles from medicover hospital to raidurg metro station.

Yes exactly because of hospital parking and restaurants parking and vehicles parked near TCS building are the major cause for the traffic slowdown.

Adding a lane does not solve problem, it just shifts the choke point to another place that's it. I bet the new choke points will be the flyover points near yashoda & the hitec city. Sad that the trees will be cut down with this expansion..😥

Biggest problem with traffic is, letting businesses start adjacent to roads. Constructing, service lanes, barricaded pavements will make is difficult for people to park the vehicles wherever they want on the carriage ways and cause obstruction to other vehicles. When the roads are uniformly wide and there are no pot holes, traffic moves smoothly. But, people who have to ensure this have different priorities and take actions elsewhere.

Its not about the business, Its lack of mass transportation system like metro as it will reduce the private vehicles on the roads and can reduce the pollution and can expand the pavements like in the europe for the people to walk and plant the greenery for the clean air for the resident of the city.

This route should have been selected for phase 2 metro route. Such a failure decision by government.
