Thank You Jamie, my son gifted me a rebuilt 2004 Cadillac CTS same yr as you (scary for me cuz high maintenance😳) but I love it/ my son so thoughtful....so glad I found your vid it helped me a lot understand what the possibilities of what to have checked.. I’m 69 yr old widow that same alert just came on this AM..BUT engine light came on.....I was backing out of my “slanted” driveway to level out so I could chk oil..no hard brake etc going to Auto Zone an have her diagnosed/ thank you again for your video help !!

The Check Engine is throwing the Cat-Convert Codes. So hes right on Cat Parts....but Stability is ABS/Track Control.

getting back to this video update don't buy the sensors on line if do make sure is OEM, I did buy my twice. Cheap sensors won't read right and it will give you faul codes Better go with the right ones Oreally got the bosh upstream for $110 don't make the same mistake I made.

My service stability light is on like yours except mine has no traction control. No check engine light. Just put a rear end in and a rear driveshaft carrier bearing. It also has a slight shake around 85-90 mph any suggestions? Edit: I also put new converters, and have redone the exhaust, that is not the issue

Yea you shouldn't be going no 80 90 mph slow tf down

I can promise you that the check stability system alert has NOTHING to do with a catalytic converter or an O2 sensor. It's possible that's why the check engine light is on, but instead of throwing $500 at the problem blindly why not get the codes pulled first so you know exactly what's wrong with it before you just start guessing? I would try to at least know what I'm talking about before making a KZbin video.
