I tried this. one of the three flat metal devices that interface with the key fell out and I lost the spring. Anybody know where I can get a replacement spring?

If you're glove box ain't broken, it will after trying to remove the lock cylinder this way. There has to be a way though.

everyone can see, that you did almost lost part's of the lock when you did deasemble the old (= worthless) one...... // therefore, show us how you did get the one out we need without damaging it... !! // I am pretty sure, you did destroy the one we need as well..... :-(........ // = never heard about the fact, you will need to put the key in the lock when you want to get it out ?...... // in my opinion: you are a storyteller
