I like the fact that owners of this car with this engines are doing their service and maintenence by themself. Speaks for the car. Just replaced the clutch on my fusion. Not recommended by the way.

Another good video. A nice short video would be how you dispose of waste materials such as oil .etc. via local council waste site or other way. Show folks the responsible way you handle these.

I had mine 1.4 tdci also second hand and I want to try to chsnge these filters, but you confused me, cuz youbare UK and it's different in mine car for the cabin filter
@restoringsalvage7 ай бұрын
The cabin filter will just be on the opposite side in your vehicle!
@dzoole7 ай бұрын
@@restoringsalvage Actually it was on the same site, but in my case I had to remove the accelerator pedal to get to the cabin filter.

Guys, I think that my seatbelt sensor is disconected cuz the chimp isn't on, but on LED test all good, so where I can find the sensor to plug in?
@restoringsalvage6 ай бұрын
Take the covers off the seatbelts so you can see the mechanism that operates the seat belt and there should be a little yellow switch!
@dzoole6 ай бұрын
@@restoringsalvage I'll check this right away

@@restoringsalvage Under the seats I found cables with plugs, but on ford forum they say they are only pretensioners. Thanks you anyway, man.

@@dzoole No thats not the ones its inside the seat belt panel on the b pillar hope that help
@dzoole6 ай бұрын
@@restoringsalvage Yep, those under the seats are pretensioners, and I found out that Europe version don't have seatbelts sensors, only for japanese market, but it's not for sure, cuz they can be installed with FORscan.

How many litres of oil you used?
@restoringsalvage3 жыл бұрын
I usually just put in what I take out and then check if it’s at the right level but think this one was 3.8 litres 5w30

My 2007 fusion 1.6 benzine 1.6 automatic came without air conditioning. Do you know if is possible to install an AC system? Is it wort it?
@restoringsalvage2 жыл бұрын
I mean it would be possibly to add one but I don’t think it would be worth it unfortunately with the time and money you would spend doing it you can always open a window aha

@@restoringsalvageIt's a plastic housing so don't do that! 27mm socket on the top with a short extension is the easiest way. Just hold the extension bar straight so you don't round or snap the plastic. They can be tight!
